Court Results for Herlon Vernon Lynch for poaching violations
EASTON, MD. — In Talbot County District Court on Jan. 15, 2015, Herlon Vernon Lynch, 63, of Centreville, Md., entered a not guilty plea to charges that he was in possession of unculled and undersize oysters that amounted to ten percent of his catch. NRP Officer Brandon Garvey had cited Lynch on Nov. 11, 2014. He was found guilty by the Judge and fined $100. Court records show the fine was “deferred”.
Omara gets light sentence for killing two in fiery DUI crash
CENTREVILLE, MD. — Kaitlin Ashley Omara was sentenced on Jan. 13, 2015 to three years in jail for killing a motorcyclist and his passenger while she drove under the influence in a blazing crash in 2013.
Queen Anne County States Attorney Lance Richardson reported that on September 17, 2014 Kaitlin Ashley Omara of 439 Barnes Ave., Westminster, Maryland entered a plea of guilty to two counts of Negligent Homicide while under the influence of alcohol.

Camden, DE – A high school teacher is behind bars with a half million dollar bail keeping him there after police charged him with 15 counts of child sex abuse. Nearly a dozen times the teacher had sex with the student in the high school, according to police.

DOVER, DEL. — The Dover Police Department reports that officers responded to 15 shoplifting calls between January 1st and Noon on January 8th. Of those 15 shoplifting complaints, one was unfounded, seven are still under investigation, and arrests were made/warrants obtained in 7 cases. A total of 6 adults were arrested or are wanted for shoplifting during this period. Two juveniles were also arrested/had warrants obtained during this period.
Cops nab man, they say, has been dealing in child porn
RISING SUN, MD. – Maryland State Police investigators seized evidence from the home of James John Stanley, 28, of 10 W. Main Street in Rising Sun, Md. That evidence, they report will substantiate charges of child pornography, they have placed against him. Stanley is now incarcerated pending bail being posted.
