Police say that on March 16, 2015, deputies responded to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for a reported sexual offense. A 5-year-old female victim disclosed she had been sexually assaulted by suspect Alan Lee Huff, age 40, of Lexington Park. Based on the nature of the allegations Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the hospital and assumed the investigation.
During the investigation, a second female victim, age 6, disclosed she had also been sexually assaulted by Huff.
Investigators, along with agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation Bel Air Office, were able to identify members of Burks’ drug trafficking organization. After his arrest, multiple search and seizure warrants were executed at locations in the Willow Brook Community where Burk was known to reside. Throughout the investigation, approximately 4,000 single serving bags of heroin were recovered, with a street value of $12,000. An additional small amount of crack cocaine, along with a loaded .40 caliber gun and over $13,045 in drug proceeds were seized.

Major Crimes detectives responded to the scene and determined that Zinneh had been dropped off at the residence on the night of March 10. Dagadu, a pastor, was asked to “pray over” Zinneh and help him with his “voices.” On the morning of March 11, the homeowner heard commotion from the basement and went downstairs. The homeowner observed Dagadu sitting on the basement floor; he appeared unresponsive. She then called 9-1-1.
FORESTVILLE, MD. — Friday the 13th wasn’t a lucky day for Daveon Lamar Ward, who will always be able to remember that it was this day he was locked up for allegedly murdering a man the previous day.
Kevin Steven Tarleton Sr., 45, Steven Kevin Tarleton, 21, and Kevin Steven Tarleton Jr., 22, received citations for using illegal harvesting equipment in Broad Creek, a tributary of the Choptank River. Officers observed them on Feb. 27 using a hand scrape in an area designated for hand tonging. The maximum penalty is a $1,000 fine and/or one year in jail.
◾Shortly before 9:10 p.m., a responding MTPD officer encountered a male subject in the westbound tunnel approximately 400 feet east of Potomac Avenue Station.
◾During that encounter, the MTPD officer discharged her department-issued service weapon, resulting in fatal injuries to the male subject.
◾There were no injuries to MTPD officers
