Virginia Police Beat: Romeo Patterson busted by Spotsylvania Sheriff’s deputies for allegedly dealing drugs in grocery store parking lot

On 9/3/14, Deputy Hamilton arrested Romeo Patterson, 38, from Caroline Co, for Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance With the Intent to Distribute and served on a felony warrant. The arrest occurred in the Food Lion (Tidewater Trail) parking lot.

Graves, Johnson, Armstrong, Allison, Linder and Lunkin were correctional officers (COs) at the BCDC who smuggled contraband into the jail for distribution by BGF inmates. Graves smuggled Percocet, marijuana and tobacco into the jail from 2011 to 2013 on behalf of BGF leader Tavon White. Graves acted in concert with other correctional officers. Johnson admitted that she smuggled drugs such as Percocet, into the jail.

Allison admitted that she worked with other COs to smuggle drugs such as Suboxone and other prescription pills as well as marijuana, into the jail. Allison knew other inmates and COs who were involved in smuggling, and in sexual relationships. Armstrong admitted that he smuggled prescription pills, marijuana, cell phones and tobacco into the jail from 2011 to 2012. Armstrong acted in concert with Allison and other correctional officers.

State police said more than 100 law enforcement officials from New York, New Jersey and here in Pennsylvania have searched the Blooming Grove area for a suspect or suspects and, so far, nothing.

“We are convinced that this individual is no longer in that immediate area,” said Lt. Colonel George Bivens.

Southern Md. Police Beat: Mini bike operator driving on road without lights killed

CALIFORNIA, MD. (Sept. 12, 2014) — A man operating a mini-bike equipped with a motor on Town Creek Drive in California, Md., without the benefit of lights and wearing dark clothing, was struck by one motorist and when ejected was flattened by another. In spite of the best efforts of the heroic Lexington Park Vol. Rescue Squad, Advanced Life Support Medics, Maryland State Police Medevac Trooper Seven and doctors at a trauma center — he died.

LUSBY, Md. — About 50 miles outside Washington D.C. is a nuclear power plant that sits on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. It’s the sort of place the government has warned is vulnerable to a terrorist attack.

But an investigation conducted by The Daily Caller found that anybody can enter the property of the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, drive through the front gates, park not far from a nuclear reactor and have no contact of any kind with security.
