Shreveport, La. Police announced on Sept. 3rd the capture of the Hobo Killer – Kevin Joseph Lino
A man wanted for murder is now in police custody following a nearly two day search by local, state and federal authorities.
Kevin Joseph Lino 27, was taken into police custody just after 6:00 p.m. on August 30, 2014, along a stretch of Mansfield Road between Valley View Drive and Kingston Road. Lino was the subject of a nearly two day man hunt in connection with his alleged role in the murder of a homeless man in Missoula, Montana back in July. Kino, who reportedly has ties to the Shreveport area, was successful in his attempts to elude authorities on at least two previous occasions while in the local vicinity.
Authorities initially tracked Lino to stretch of Clyde Fant Parkway along the Red River on Friday evening and a second time on Friday night after a car was reported stolen from a business parking lot in Shreve City.
The third attempt would prove successful in the capture of Lino, as authorities, acting on information gathered through confidential sources, were able to track Lino to a wooded area near a set of railroad tracks below the Mansfield Road viaduct. As officers and agents ascended on the woods, Lino was eventually captured and taken into custody by Shreveport Police officers without incident. Lino was booked as a fugitive into the Shreveport City Jail.
Angela Marchese, the one-legged girlfriend of Kevin Joseph Lino was captured in a traffic stop by Shreveport Police and is currently booked in the Cado Correctional Center on fugitive and possession of stolen goods charges.

Mollie Halpern: A felon wanted for the murder of a man in Montana is on the lam. The FBI needs your help tracking down Kevin Joseph Lino, a transient who blends in well at homeless camps, shelters, and food banks.
Monte Shaide: He loves to fight, he loves to torture, he loves to cut people. He is probably one of the most dangerous individuals we’ve seen in this type of community in a long time.
Halpern: Special Agent Monte Shaide says Lino quickly spiraled out of control after an argument with a homeless man.
Shaide: After he was finished beating, cutting, and torturing the victim, Kevin Lino drew a weapon and shot the victim in the head, dumping the body in the river near Missoula.
Halpern: Lino, whose most recent known alias is David Silva, has ties to West Virginia and Massachusetts. He may be traveling with his girlfriend, Angela Marchese, who has one leg and needs the assistance of a wheelchair or crutches. The couple was last seen driving a 2014 white Ford Focus in Colorado with nine pit bull puppies.
Shaide: He simply abuses individuals that can’t stand up for themselves. He is a coward and needs to be brought to justice.

While Missoula deputies had found and arrested two others in connection with this murder, Lino was posting new photos to his Facebook page.
Lino and Marchese are wanted in connection with the Missoula murder and two others are now sitting in the Missoula Sheriff’s jail. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Paige Pavalone says officers arrested 21-year-old Kenneth D. Hickman on suspicion of aggravated assault while Mechailiah Tembruell is charged with accountability for aggravated assault.
