SYKESVILLE, MD. — A man who had been ticketed four times last year for speeding in Maryland was reportedly speeding at a high rate on Rt. 32 in Sykesville, Md., when police say he slammed into another vehicle, killing himself and injuring another driver.

The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on River Bend Road and attempted to pass a vehicle in front of him by crossing a double yellow line at the crest of a hill. His Suzuki motorcycle collided with a Toyota RAV 4 that was traveling in the oncoming lane. The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old Hendon man, was flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital.

He then observed two juvenile females fighting on his vehicle surround by a large group of juveniles. He asked the juveniles to move away from his vehicle and tried to break up the fight. The juveniles then began to assault him.
