Rescue Boat 71 was in the water shortly after dispatch with the crew heading north in the Susquehanna River to start the search. Just north of the boat launch the crew noticed a light in the water and headed towards the object. The crew located a male subject holding onto a cooler and pulled him aboard. The patient advised he was in a canoe that had overturned with another male and that he had lost contact with him before our arrival.
The Bloxum Volunteer Rescue squad was traveling southbound Route 13 in a 2013 Chevy ambulance. The rescue squad vehicle was transporting a patient, with lights and sirens activated, when the driver drove through the red light at the Route 180 intersection. Upon driving through the intersection, the ambulance struck a 2013 Ford Star Transit Bus causing the ambulance to lose control and overturn several times.
John Wilmer Conrad III, 40, of Sparks, was on his way from Chestertown to a Middle River marina on May 25, when he went missing. His 25-foot sailboat was seen the next morning, motoring in a circle near North Point State Park, by a Baltimore County Police aviation unit.
“The victim went upstairs to a bedroom to get away from White. White followed the victim into the room and looked the door. The victim repeatedly tried to get out of the room only to be grabbed by White. The victim eventually made it to a window and was able to yell for help. A witness heard the victim’s screams for help and kicked in the door. The witness located the victim being held back by White.
Prince Georges Police report that Edwards joined the ranks of the recently dead on May 30, 2015, at about 5:00 pm. Police patrol officers with the Glenarden and Prince George’s County Police Departments were called to the 2800 block of Hornbeam Court for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Edwards outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
