WHEATON, MD. According to Montgomery County Police a District man is being held for attempted murder. What police did not say is that the slashing in broad daylight could have been a routine robbery attempt or what may have been an ISIS style beheading attempt.
Witnesses at the scene, along with statements from the victim identified the suspects. Both suspects were located at their respective residences in Caroline County and taken into custody without incident by the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team. Sheriff deputies from the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
White “denied ownership of any large sums of currency and drugs in the house.” $81,133.00 in currency (including two counterfeit bills), two money counter machines and five cellular phones were recovered from Wiggins’s bedroom.
Robinson also admitted that he stole and sold bus shelters belonging to the City for $70,000. In 2011, Robinson arranged for Baltimore City to purchase 13 bus shelters from a Canadian company for $249,290. On multiple occasions from May 2013 to March 2014, Robinson said since the city did not keep track of the shelters, he planned to sell them for his personal benefit. On April 9, 2014, Robinson accepted $70,000, in return for the city’s bus shelters.
Pat Joseph Carroll of North Augusta, South Carolina, arrested 6-8-15 for Possession of Suspected Adderall pills and Drug Paraphernalia. Carroll was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop in Princess Anne where Deputies conducted a probable cause search on Carroll’s truck where they recovered suspected Adderall pills (that were not his prescription) and other drug paraphernalia.
Maryland State Police from the Frederick Barrack issued 230 speeding citations, made 5 DUI arrests and 6 Drug arrests.
The search warrant resulted in seizure of digital evidence containing child pornography. As a result of the investigation and a digital forensic analysis revealed that Magana was in possession of numerous files of child pornography.
For unknown reasons, Zander Hartman darted out into the right lane of northbound SR1 directly in the path of Suburban where he was struck with the front bumper of the SUV.
Alcohol and speed appear to be contributing factors in this case.
