Maryland State Police homicide investigators are in the early stages of an investigation into the suspicious death of an unidentified person whose decomposed remains were found today in a rural area of Dorchester County.
The remains of the person have not been identified. Investigators will await forensic examination from experts at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner who will attempt to determine the sex, age, race, and identity of the remains, as well as a cause and manner of death. The preliminary investigation indicates the person may have been dead less than six months.

The investigation revealed that Lamb had intentions of confronting Willingham in regards to a dispute involving a woman who Lamb previously had a relationship with. Lamb made physically-threatening statements to Willingham in person and on social media leading up to Sunday’s shooting, according to police.
(August 25, 2014) – According to Ocean City Maryland Police, on August 24, 2014, at approximately 3:12 a.m. Ocean City police were dispatched to area of 109 North Atlantic Avenue to assist Ocean City EMS, for a victim of an assault that had already occurred. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male that was unconscious and unresponsive in the parking lot of an area hotel.
First responders from the Ocean City Police and Fire Departments initiated emergency lifesaving procedures on the victim and transported him to Atlantic General Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as Justin Daniel Cancelliere, 37, North Whitehall, PA.
The defendants frequently shared with one another the proceeds they illegally obtained, and used their power, authority and official positions as police officers to promote and protect their illegal activity. Among other things, the defendants used POPR firearms, badges, patrol cars, tools, uniforms and other equipment to commit the crimes, and then concealed their illegal activity with fraudulently obtained court documents and falsified POPR paperwork that made it appear they were engaged in legitimate police work.
