Former Baltimore Police Officer Lamin Manneh Sentenced to 21 Months in Prison for Operating a Prostitution Business

According to Manneh’s indictment and information presented at court hearings, from February to May 9, 2013, Manneh operated a prostitution business with over 300 customers. Manneh’s 19 year old wife and another 19 year old woman worked as prostitutes for Manneh. The government alleges that as part of his business, Manneh wrote, paid for and posted more than 50 prostitution ads for the two women on Internet websites; rented an apartment and hotel rooms for clients; and drove the women to residences and hotel rooms specified by clients.

The officer approached the room and observed a vehicle that was occupied. The officer approached the vehicle to investigate if it was involved while still being conscientious of room #225. As the officer walked up on the vehicle, he observed the door of room #225 open with a male suspect exiting and holding a handgun.

The officer immediately drew his firearm and announced his presence at which time a second male suspect with a handgun exited the room. Both suspects then fled on foot toward Russet Green with the officer in pursuit.

Prince William Police report that on October 21st at 9:51PM, a Prince William County police officer was directing traffic in the area of Horner

Rd and Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) related to the fatal crash on Jefferson Davis Hwy. As the officer was controlling the intersection, a driver of a vehicle, identified as the accused, proceeded through the intersection and clipped the officer. The accused remained at the scene and was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested. The officer was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

CALIFORNIA, MD. – On Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 5:00 pm, the Maryland State Police report that Cpl. Hunt responded to the 43000 block of Yellow Wood Way for a check welfare. Cpl. Hunt made contact with the complainant, who advised that Adam Thomas Wilkins, 19, of California, had admitted to using CDS. The complainant advised that he observed Adam’s level of intoxication worsen as time went on and called for police assistance and an ambulance. Mr. Wilkins refused medical treatment and was arrested for CDS Possession – Not Marijuana and CDS Possess Paraphernalia. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

Checkers is open late but not late enough for these two bozos caught red-handed burglarizing

St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that the long arm of the law caught up with two miscreants who are now on the fast track to prison unless they get lenient treatment from one of Maryland’s many liberal judges. The two clowns caught robbing Checkers located on Rt. 235 in California, were wearing masks when found by deputies inside the burger joint. The masks were clearly intended for the benefit of the security cameras as the popular burger and shake establishment was closed and there were no employees around to notice the format of their faces.

RODERFIELD, W.Va. (08/23/2014)— A man is dead and a woman in critical condition after encountering a Norfolk Southern train late Thursday night near the McDowell County community of Roderfield.

Norfolk Southern said the two along with another man were on a railroad bridge close to the Roderfield tunnel when the company’s mixed freight train traveling from Ohio to Georgia came through the area at about 11:30 p.m.

Falls Church alleged pimp Alan Cooley indicted for sex trafficking of teen girl

According to court records, on March 26, 2014, the FBI was alerted that the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office had received a tip that a juvenile female allegedly was engaged in prostitution for a pimp known as “Midas,” later identified as Cooley. In the early morning hours of March 26, law enforcement located the juvenile in a hotel room in Dumfries, Virginia. During a subsequent interview, the juvenile revealed that she had run away from her home in North Carolina and had been recruited initially by a pimp in Charlotte to engage in prostitution. After two weeks of working for the Charlotte pimp, the juvenile allegedly was transported by Cooley to Fredericksburg, Virginia to engage in further prostitution.

Prince William Police Beat: Employee of Merchants Tire Robbed; Man with Machete Disarmed

On August 14th, members of the U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force conducted a warrant service at a residence located in the 3613 Felmore Ct in Woodbridge (22193). Once inside the home, narcotics were discovered by members of the task force. Detectives from the Street Crimes Unit obtained and subsequently executed a search warrant at the residence. During the search, suspected control substances including heroin, cocaine, synthetic marijuana, marijuana, liquid codeine, prescription medications, evidence of distribution and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were recovered. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

ALCOHOL VIOLATION – On July 25, 2014, Deputy Krum assigned to the Lexington Park COPs UNIT, observed suspects Francine Mae Morgan, 55, of Lexington Park, and James Calvin Morgan, 49, of Lexington Park, in the area of South Shangri La Drive in Lexington Park, consuming alcoholic beverages. Both were charged with the violation by criminal citation.
