Home Invasion Robbery Arrest – Laurel
On November 11, 2014, at approximately 2:23 a.m., an officer from the Western District responded to the Knights Inn located at 3380 Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel for an unknown disturbance in room #225. Upon arrival, the officer heard what appeared to be arguing coming from inside the room.
The officer approached the room and observed a vehicle that was occupied. The officer approached the vehicle to investigate if it was involved while still being conscientious of room #225. As the officer walked up on the vehicle, he observed the door of room #225 open with a male suspect exiting and holding a handgun.
The officer immediately drew his firearm and announced his presence at which time a second male suspect with a handgun exited the room. Both suspects then fled on foot toward Russet Green with the officer in pursuit.
The officer was able to give dispatch a suspect description and direction of travel to include that the suspects were armed for other officers that were responding to the area.
One of the suspects was located and taken into custody without incident. He was unarmed at the time. During further investigation, it was revealed that multiple suspects attempted to rob the 34-year-old female and 26-year-old male occupants of room #225. Officers searched the area where the suspect fled and located a semi-automatic handgun in a wooded area on the side of the motel.

Update:
Western District Detectives are actively looking for a female and male suspect involved in this incident. The female suspect is described as African American, approximately 5’4”, 145 pounds, known to wear various wigs and goes by the nickname “Chonn”.
She is known to one of the victims as “Michonn”.
The second suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 5’7” 160 pounds, wearing a lime green shirt or jacket, and possible goes by the name of “Mo” and is said to be “Chonn’s” boyfriend. Both fled the scene in unknown direction.
“Mo” is apparently known to carry multiple firearms. “Chonn” is said to be a prostitute, possibly operating in the Laurel area. Anyone with possible information about the whereabouts of these two suspects is asked to contact the Western District at 410-222-6155.
