OAKVILLE, MD. – On September 15, 2014 at 1:28 AM, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded to a private residence on King Drive, for a reported burglary which had just occurred. Deputies determined two black male suspects, dressed in all dark clothing and wearing face masks, forced entry to the residence. Both suspects were armed with handguns and ordered the occupants of the residence to the floor. They demanded to know where specific items were located within the residence. After being unable to locate the requested items the suspects fled the residence on foot.

Crack, Heroin and Cocaine Arrests
GLEN BURNIE, MD. — Anne Arundel Police report that on September 11, 2014, at approximately 1:45 a.m., detectives from Northern District’s Tactical Patrol Unit (TPU) were conducting surveillance in the area of Townsend Avenue in reference to drug activity. During their surveillance, detectives conducted a traffic stop on Ritchie Highway and 11th Avenue. As a result, detectives seized 65 capsules of heroin (18.98 grams) with an approximate street value of $2,280 along with 1.90 grams of marijuana.
Suspect: Tyrell Obrian Walters, 29, of 861 Herndon Court, Baltimore, Md. The suspect was charged with Possession with the intent to distribute heroin, Possession of CDS heroin and Possession of marijuana.
On Sept 3, 2014, detectives from Northern District’s Tactical Patrol Unit (TPU) were conducting surveillance in the Pumphrey area due to several neighbor complaints of drug activity. While conducting their surveillance, detectives observed what they believed to be a drug transaction. Detectives conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle on Gibbons and Belle Grove Road. As a result, detectives seized 17 individual baggies of crack cocaine valued at $170.00.
Suspect: Samuel Webster Smith, 19, of 1130 Cleveland Avenue, Baltimore, Md. The suspect was charged with Possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine and Possession of CDS crack cocaine.
Knittle, wanted by police, spotted by trooper
GREAT MILLS, MD. – On Friday, September 5, 2014 at 3:23 pm, TFC S. Ditoto observed Anthony John Knittle, 31, of Great Mills, walking on St. George’s Drive at St. Leonard Circle. TFC Ditoto knew Knittle was currently wanted through the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for two bench warrants. TFC Ditoto made contact with Knittle and arrested him for the warrants. A further check revealed he was also wanted through the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Charles County Sheriff’s Office. A search incident to arrest revealed suspected CDS. Knittle was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, where he was charged accordingly for the CDS and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
No Gray Area for this DUI-Drugged Driver
Drug Arrest – On Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 5:21 pm, Tpr. Oyler responded to the area of Route 5 and Route 245 to attempt to locate a blue passenger car involved in a hit and run accident. Tpr. Oyler located the vehicle at Route 243 and Port of Leonardtown Park and made contact with the driver, Kristopher Brenton Gray, 27, of Leonardtown. Tpr. Oyler observed a pill bottle in Mr. Gray’s possession and had him exit his vehicle for further investigation. A probable cause search led to the recovery of CDS, paraphernalia, and US currency. Mr. Gray was arrested and transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for Standardized Field Sobriety testing. He was then transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, where he was charged with Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute, Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, and related charges. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
Stuporific Dad was at school to pick up kid
LEXINGTON PARK, MD. – According to the Maryland State Police on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 4:00 pm, Tpr. Krenik responded to Lexington Park Elementary for a reported intoxicated parent attempting to pick up his son.
Tpr. Krenik made contact with the parent, Garrett John Dugan, 49, of no fixed address, who advised he had driven his vehicle to the school to pick up his child. Mr. Dugan performed Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and submitted to a Preliminary Breath Test.
He was arrested and charged with Alcoholic Beverage – Intoxicated Endangerment and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. The Department of Social Services responded to the scene and took custody of the child until the mother could respond from out of state.
Pot Packing and Puffing Noticed by Police
CALIFORNIA, MD. – Maryland State Police report that on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 7:00 pm, Tpr. Oyler initiated a traffic stop on a black passenger vehicle on Route 235 and First Colony Way. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. The driver, David Francis Garcia, 21, of Great Mills, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released.
Driving goes better when using drugs
HOLLYWOOD, MD. – Police report that on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 3:57 pm, Tpr. Oyler initiated a traffic stop on a gold passenger car in the area of Route 235 and Route 245 for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. The driver, Nicole Babette Smith, 48, of Lusby, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS – Not Marijuana. She was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
Tough guy banged up woman, say cops
HERMANVILLE, MD. – Police report that on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 9:58 am, Tpr. Morris responded to the 47000 block of Mary Lynn Drive for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed Robert Wayne March, 36, of Lexington Park, had assaulted a female victim. He was arrested and charged with Assault – Second Degree and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. Mr. March was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
Drugs make Adam smart
CALIFORNIA, MD. – On Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 5:00 pm, the Maryland State Police report that Cpl. Hunt responded to the 43000 block of Yellow Wood Way for a check welfare. Cpl. Hunt made contact with the complainant, who advised that Adam Thomas Wilkins, 19, of California, had admitted to using CDS. The complainant advised that he observed Adam’s level of intoxication worsen as time went on and called for police assistance and an ambulance. Mr. Wilkins refused medical treatment and was arrested for CDS Possession – Not Marijuana and CDS Possess Paraphernalia. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
Window breaking bozo spat on cop
MANASSAS, VA. – Prince William County police report that on September 15th at 10:34PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10200 block of Winchester Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a disorderly complaint. The caller reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, was at the residence and was breaking windows in attempt to get into the home. Officers arrived at the residence and made contact with the accused standing outside. The accused was still actively breaking windows with a brick when officers approached him. At one point, the accused began to charge towards the officers. He was eventually detained without further incident. While in custody, the accused spat in the face of one of the arresting officers. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, Tyrek VINING, 18, of 9407 Lafayette Ave in Manassas, was arrested.
