Northern Virginia Police BeatGunman sticks up Residence Inn

MANASSAS, VA. – On October 22nd at 10:40PM, officers responded to the Residence Inn located at 7345 Williamson Blvd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the lobby and approached the front desk counter. Once there, the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the employee. The man took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Suspect Description: Black male, between 20 & 29 years of age, 6’0”, 180-200lbs with a medium build

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – There is a special supply of criminals in the Woodbridge area and some of them are raiding homes while the homeowner is shopping or at work.

Prince William Police report that on October 22nd at 3:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14400 block of Filarete St in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30AM and 2:45PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear patio door. A gaming console, iPad and money were reported missing.

Dark clothing, dark street, crossing into traffic at night proved fatal

WOODBRIDGE, VA. Prince William County Police report that on October 21st at 6:58PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 13400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian. The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2003 Toyota Highlander was traveling southbound on Jefferson Davis Hwy in the area above. At the same time, a pedestrian, identified as an adult woman, was crossing the street and was subsequently struck by the vehicle. The driver remained at the scene and was unharmed. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital where she died as a result of her injuries. Investigators determined that at the time of the crash, the pedestrian was not in a designated crosswalk and was wearing dark clothing. Weather may have also made it difficult to see the pedestrian as she attempted to cross the road. The driver of the vehicle was not charged. No other contributing factors were determined.

Identified: The pedestrian was identified as Amelu G. FELIX, 51, of Woodbridge.  The driver of the 2003 Toyota Highlander was identified as a 61 year old woman of Springfield

HOOKER PatrolGunman robbed and beat hooker who showed up to meet a “John”

DUMFRIES, VA. – A hooker was robbed when she showed up to meet a man in a motel. Police report that on October 22nd at 12:08AM, officers responded to the Econo Lodge located at 17005 Dumfries Rd in Dumfries Va. to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 39 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she made arrangements to meet an unknown man at the above motel. Once inside the room, the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money. During the encounter, the suspect struck the victim multiple times in the face and head with the gun before taking money and fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the incident was not random.

Suspect Description:

Black male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 6’1”, 120lbs with a thin build, medium complexion and bald. No clothing description reported.

Salt & Pepper Burglars tried to break in after woman refused to answer the door

MANASSAS, VA. – This resident needs to get a gun. On October 21st at 3:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8100 block of Morningside Dr in Manassas (20112 to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she was inside her residence when she heard a knock at her door. The homeowner looked through a peephole and did not recognize the man. A short time later, the homeowner heard the sound of glass breaking in her basement. The homeowner immediately locked the door to the basement and contacted police. The suspects were last seen fleeing on foot towards Dumfries Rd. No property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Suspect Description: White female, between 20 & 25 years of age, 5’4”-5’6”, 120lbs with a medium build and shoulder length blonde hair

Last seen wearing a white hooded jacket with a fur trim, dark pants and sneakers

Black male, between 20 & 25 years of age, 5’11”, 200lbs with a thin build, dark complexion and long black dreadlocks

Last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, dark pants and sneakers

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – Prince William Police report that on October 21st at 7:30AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1500 block of Maurice Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary in progress. A resident of the home reported to police that she was asleep inside her bedroom when she woke to a noise coming from the living room. When the resident looked out of her bedroom door, she observed an unknown man exiting the home. The man was then seen walking towards Horner Rd. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear door. A safe containing money and documents was reported missing. The resident was unable to describe the intruder. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Hobo Burglars crashed through business window; cops collared them in their camp

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – According to Prince William County Police on October 21st at 2:20AM, officers responded to BonChon located at 14563 Potomac Mill Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the business and observed a front glass window broken out. After checking the business, a cash register was discovered missing. A police K-9 responded and led officers to a wooded area behind the shopping center. Upon reviewing the surveillance footage, two suspects, a man and a woman, were seen entering the business and removing the cash register. Officers quickly identified the suspects as the accused individuals listed below. Both suspects were located in a tent in the wooded area and were arrested without further incident. During the investigation, officers determined that the male suspect had also attempted to enter a neighboring business, the C &W Used Books Store located at 14583 Potomac Mills Rd. No entry was gained into that business and no property was reported missing. Following the investigation, both suspects were charged.

Brian Edward Lisi let the booze do his talking; tried to take a bite out of cop

GAINESVILLE, VA. – On October 19th at 10:50AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Thornton Dr in Catharpin, to investigate a disorderly call. The caller reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, was intoxicated and refusing to leave the residence. Officers arrived and made contacted with the accused outside of the home. The accused was placed under arrested and refused to cooperate with police. At one point, the accused attempted to bite one of the officers on the hand. No contact was made and no injuries were reported. The accused was eventually detained without further incident.

Arrested on October 19th:

Rd and Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) related to the fatal crash on Jefferson Davis Hwy. As the officer was controlling the intersection, a driver of a vehicle, identified as the accused, proceeded through the intersection and clipped the officer. The accused remained at the scene and was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested. The officer was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

Arrested on October 21st:

Jose Osmin LIZAMA, 45, of 8160 Gilroy Rd in Lorton

Charged with driving under the influence and unreasonable refusal
