DUMFRIES, VA. — Prince William County Police report on an alleged violent case of animal cruelty of a man who stands charged with stabbing one dog to death and stomping several puppies and killing them, all for the purpose of spite towards his soon to be ex-girlfriend.

Police say that on July 21st at 8:45AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17700 block of Confederate Ct in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic with weapons. Officers arrived at the home and identified both parties.

The victim, a 29 year old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated.

During the encounter, the accused assaulted and pushed the victim. At one point, the accused took a phone and threw it against a sliding glass door, causing it to shatter.

After the parties had separated, the victim attempted to gather her belongings and leave the home.

At that point, the victim stated she witnessed the accused use a kitchen knife to stab her dog. Officers checked the home and located an adult male pit bull deceased with a stab wound to its back.

Police Officers also located two, 2-week old pit bull puppies, one of which was also deceased and the other was critically injured. Both puppies appeared to have sustained blunt force trauma.

The injured puppy was immediately taken to an area animal hospital for treatment.

Three other puppies and an adult female pit bull were also located in the home and appeared to be unharmed. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. The investigation continues into the cause of death for the puppy pending the results of a necropsy. Additional charges against the accused are pending.

DUMFRIES, VA. On July 22nd at 12:03AM, officers responded to the 3300 block of Vineland Place in Dumfries to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 24-year-old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was delivering a pizza to a residence in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man.

During the encounter, the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, the pizza, and the victim’s wallet before fleeing on foot.

No injuries were reported.

A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect. The K-9 and handler were able to locate a man matching the description provided by the victim in the 3300 block of Canton Ct and identify him as the accused. Upon searching the accused, the victim’s wallet was located. The handgun used in the incident was also located and determined to be an airsoft gun. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Woman’s water bottle bash in cop’s face earns her BINGO to Jail

Woodbridge, Va. – Prince William County Police report that on July 22nd at 10:49AM, officers responded to the area of Marblestone Dr. and Chapowhite Dr. in Woodbridge, Va. to investigate a disorderly call. Officers checked the area and were able to locate and identify an individual described in the initial call as the accused. During the encounter, the accused took out a plastic bottle and began swinging it towards the officer, striking him in the face. Officers then attempted to arrest the accused, at which point, she actively resisted. The accused was eventually detained without further incident. During the struggle, one of the officers sustained a minor injury to his leg. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Woodbridge, Va. – On July 22nd at 6:31PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13900 block of Matthews Dr. in Woodbridge to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30AM and 11:15AM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. Two gaming consoles, an iPod, and other property, total value around $680, were reported missing.

Woodbridge, Va. – On July 21st at 4:22PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Birchdale Ave. in Woodbridge, Va. to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00AM and 3:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear door which was forced open. No property was reported missing.

Police Pick Pair of Punks as Alleged Robbers of Kid

Woodbridge, Va. – Prince William County Police report that on July 19th, officers arrested the second suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of Colchester Rd. and East Longview Dr. in Woodbridge on July 7, 2014. The first suspect, identified as a juvenile, was previously arrested on July 16th.

Shafi Raaquan GREEN, 19, of the 16900 block of Gentlewood Ln. in Dumfries

On July 7th at 3:45PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of Colchester Rd. and East Longview Dr. in Woodbridge.

The victim, a 13 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when a blue 4-door sedan passed him and then parked.

Once parked, three unknown men exited the vehicle and approached the victim.

One of the men demanded the victim’s cell phone. When the victim refused, the men grabbed the phone from the victim. The men then got back into the vehicle and left. The vehicle was driven by an unknown woman with black hair and blonde highlights.

No injuries were reported.

The victim was only above to describe one of the suspects. On July 16th, detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify one of the suspects involved in this robbery. On the afternoon of July 16th, that suspect, identified as a juvenile, was located at the McDonald’s on Potomac Mills Cir.

When detectives attempted to apprehend him, he fled on foot. After a short foot chase, the juvenile was located and apprehended without further incident. During the investigation, detectives were able to identify a second suspect involved in the same robbery as Shafi GREEN. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants against GREEN who remains wanted.

 

Police seek alleged child molester

Woodbridge, Va. – On July 14th at 5:36PM, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence in the 1600 block of Maryland Ave in Woodbridge, Va. on July 13th. The investigation revealed that the victim’s, a 4 year old girl and a 6 year old girl, were both sexually assaulted by a man while they were visiting a residence in the above area. During the investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as the accused who resides in the basement of the home. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants against the accused.

Described as a Hispanic male, 5’8”, 175lbs with a medium build, clean shaven face, curly black hair and brown eyes

Residential Burglary

Dumfries, Va. – On July 19th at 3:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4700 block of Timber Ridge Dr. in Dumfries to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between an unknown time on July 5th and 3:00AM on July 19th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. Two gaming consoles, total value around $650, were reported missing. The homeowner was on vacation at the time of the incident.

 Manassas, Va. – On July 19, 2014at 7:40PM, officers responded to a Davita Dialysis located at 1655 Lomond Dr. in Manassas, Va. to investigate an attempted burglary. Employees reported to police that sometime between 9:30 PM on July 18th and 7:30PM on July 19th, entry was attempted into the business through a side window which was found shattered. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.

 

In the heat of the night; man charged with strangulation of girlfriend

Woodbridge, Va. – On July 19th at 10:45 AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1600 block of Hylton Ave in Woodbridge, Va. to investigate a domestic assault which was reported to have occurred on July 18th.

The victim, a 43 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim to the ground and then put his hands around her neck. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Woodbridge, Va. – More women are signing up for firearm courses just for such incidents as this. If the victim in this case had learned to shoot, the cops wouldn’t be looking for him, they would have found his dead carcass on the floor.

Prince William County Police report that on July 19, 2014 at 8:41AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14300 block of North Park Ct in Woodbridge, Va. to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she woke to find the accused, a known acquaintance, standing in her bedroom.

After a brief confrontation, the accused fled the home prior to police arriving in the area. No injuries were reported. The investigation revealed that the accused entered the home through an unsecured door.

While officers were at the home, the accused returned. Upon seeing police, the accused fled on foot into a nearby wooded area where he was eventually apprehended without further incident.

Officers also learned that the accused was stalking the victim over the past several days at her residence. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Woodbridge, Va. – Prince William County Police report that a man alleged to have been involved in a brutal robbery has been apprehended while a second suspect is wanted. 

Police say that on July 18, 2014, officers with the Alexandria City Police Department arrested the second suspect involved in a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on July 12th. The first suspect, Charles BARNES, was previously apprehended on July 13th.

On July 12th at 10:58AM, officers responded to the area of the Prince William Pkwy and Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery.

The victim, a 24 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that on July 11th around 10:00PM, he was walking in the area above when he was approached from behind and struck in the head by two unknown men, causing him to lose consciousness. When the victim woke, he was at his residence and discovered his wallet and cell phone were missing. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify the suspects involved in this incident after learning the suspects had followed the victim after leaving a nearby 7-11. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants against the suspects. One of the men, BARNES, was apprehended on July 13th without further incident. The second suspect, EATON, remains wanted.

On July 17th at 7:37PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3500 block of Macon Way in Triangle (22172) to investigate an assault.

The victim, a 24-year-old woman of Triangle, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim. When the victim attempted to call police, the accused took her phone and threw it.

The accused then grabbed the victim and refused to let her go. At one point, the victim attempted to scream for help when the accused covered her mouth. After the encounter, the accused fled the home. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused.

The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM on July 15th and 2:00PM on July 17th. Entry appeared to have been made into a shed on the property. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the shed. A bicycle, valued around $150, was reported missing.

Bristow, Va. – On July 16th at 10:05PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12100 block of Formby St. in Bristow to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM on July 14th and 9:00PM on July 15th. Entry appeared to have been made into an attached garage. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the garage. A bicycle, valued around $400, was reported missing.

Police say that on July 17th at 11:48PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4400 block of Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge  to investigate a domestic assault.

The victim, a 27-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and, at one point, put his hands around her neck. The victim was also stabbed by the accused with a screwdriver. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

On July 11th at 1:58PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10700 block of Clover St. in Manassas to investigate a domestic assault which occurred earlier that morning. The victim, a 22-year-old woman of Manassas, reported to police that at around 9:30AM, she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated.

During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and, at one point, began to choke her. The accused held the victim against her will until she was eventually able to leave the home and contact police. Minor injuries were reported.

Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused who turned himself into police on July 12th.
