LEXINGTON PARK, MD. – Two days, two armed robberies and in neither robbery did St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron release video or photos from the robberies or provide a description of the suspect. A description of an armed robber or photo is typically used to help solicit leads and tips from the public and capture a criminal.
Police say the female victim was delivering food to a residence in the 200 Block of North State Street. She was approached by three suspects (identified as black males) after the delivery. One of the male suspects stated the he had a gun and demanded cash. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspects fled in a maroon hatchback vehicle.
Evidently, the criminal class of Dover must pass around the valuable information that if the cops don’t buy the first phony name you throw out, just toss them another one!
Court records alleged that Crawford armed himself with a kitchen knife and barricaded himself and Jenkins in a bedroom after several hours of fighting. Jenkin’s two sons then stormed the door to the bedroom when Crawford then attacked them both with the kitchen knife, much like a scene out of a horror movie.
With the engine positioned for barrier protection 2 of the 5 firefighters dismounted to determine whether any additional hands would be needed on the incident. Just after they dismounted, a van struck the rear end of the engine.
WALDORF, Maryland (October 20, 2015) – Overloaded extension cord caused two deaths in Charles County fire. The Office of the State Fire Marshal reports that it has determined the origin and cause of a double fatal fire that claimed the life of two Waldorf family members. Investigators determined the fire originated within a hallway which separated the victims’ bedrooms and concluded the cause was an electrical failure due to an overloaded extension cord.
