The following incidents and arrests are reported by Spotsylvania Sheriff Roger Harris:

Arrests Made, October 12, 2015 – October 18, 2015

Theft

On 10/13/15, Deputy Buccola arrested Tylor Elaine Titus, 28 of Spotsylvania, in the 3100 Block of Plank Road for 3 counts of Felony Shoplifting, and 2 counts of Obtaining Money by False Pretenses.

On 10/13/15, Deputy Durbin released Ashley Marie Skinner, 18 of King George, on a summons for shoplifting in the 3100 Block of Plank Road.

On 10/14/15, Deputy Dupree arrested Shamaal Vick, 19 of (no fixed address), for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Felony Elude, Reckless driving and driving suspended.

On 10/15/15, Deputy Hahn charged William Rollins, 19 of Caroline with Petit Larceny at Wal-Mart. Rollins was released on a summons.

Assault

On 10/16/15, Deputy Griffith arrested Ashley Williams, 28 of Spotsylvania, for Assault.

On 10/18/15, Deputy P. Corbin arrested Gene Callaway, 51 of Spotsylvania, for Assault on Bently Court.

DUI

On 10/14/15, Sr. Deputy F. Payne arrested Christa Meyers, 43 of Spotsylvania, for DUI in the area of Harrison Rd and Piedmont Dr.

On 10/17/15, Sr. Deputy F. Payne arrested Jeremy Williams, 30 of Maryland for DUI, Refusal, and Open Container.

On 10/14/15, Deputy Wright and Sgt. Assur responded to assist VSP in Orange County on Mine Run Rd., with a DUI hit and run, in which the suspect fled on foot. After a lengthy track, K-9 Hulk located the intoxicated suspect hiding in the woods. Taylor Jackson, 26 of Spotsylvania, was taken into custody by VSP.

Narcotics

On 10/12/15, Deputy C. Lee charged Dakota Snow, 18 of Spotsylvania, with Possession of Marijuana, on a traffic stop at Rt. 17 and Old Dominion Pkwy.

On 10/12/15, Deputy M. Jones arrested Vernard Sparks, 18 of South Carolina, for Possession for Marijuana and Resisting Arrest at the Knights Inn.

On 10/14/15, Deputy Lamont arrested Amanda Thresher, 26 of Spotsylvania, for Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia stemming from a warrant service.

On 10/16/15, Sgt. R. Wahl charged Melanie Keeter, 35 of Spotsylvania, with Possession of Marijuana. The incident took place on a traffic stop in the 9400 block of Mill Pond Rd.

On 10/18/15, Deputy Wright arrested Derrick Edwards, 42 of Spotsylvania, on a felony Possession of Cocaine warrant.

Arrests

On 10/12/15, Deputy J. Morris arrested Gary Bollmann, 44 of Spotsylvania, for Drunk in Public at the Howard Johnson.

On 10/14/15, Deputy P. Corbin arrested Teresa Duran, 46 of Fredericksburg, for Drunk in Public in the 6200 block of Pella Lane.

On 10/17/15, Deputy C. Lee arrested Christopher Campbell, 29 of Haynesville, for Drunk in Public at Hard Times.

On 10/17/15, Deputy C. Lee arrested Richard Jacobs Jr., 36 of Spotsylvania, for Drunk in Public on Noel Dr.

On 10/17/15, Deputy P. Corbin arrested Ruby Morales, 22 of Fredericksburg, for Drunk in Public in the 10700 block of Allie Dr.

On 10/18/15, Deputy Ford arrested Diamond Jones, 19 of Spotsylvania, for Curse and Abuse, Obstruction of Justice, and felony Assault on Law Enforcement.

Theft

On 9/28/15, Deputy Jones arrested Joshua Gilken, 19 of Stafford for Shoplifting at Wal-Mart. Gilken was released on a summons.

On 9/30/15, Deputy Fuller arrested Jeremy Rose, 23 of Spotsylvania for Petit Larceny Shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

On 9/30/15, Deputy Walsh released Tyler Deavers, 20 of Spotsylvania for Petit Larceny Shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

On 10/1/15, Deputy Fuller arrested Marcus nelson, 23 of Stafford for Grand Larceny Shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

On 10/2/15, Deputy Brown arrested Bryan Hall, 25 of Spotsylvania County on a Capias arrest warrant from Stafford County for Grand Larceny.

On 10/3/15, Deputy Lamont arrested Edith Blanco, 49 of Orange for Shoplifting from Belk. Blanco was released on a summons.

On 10/4/15, Deputy Ford arrested Kayla Hester, 18 of Caroline Co. and Kimberly Hester, 34 of Caroline Co. for Shoplifting at Wal-Mart. They were released on a summons.

Assault

On 10/4/15, Deputy Trippett arrested Stacy Burgwald, 48 of Spotsylvania for Battery.

DUI

On 9/29/15, Deputy Lee arrested Michael Zoppy, 33 of Spotsylvania for DUID and Possession of Marijuana.

On 10/2/15, Deputy Londeree arrested Steven McGlauglin, 21 for DUI. Steven is a resident of Spotsylvania County.

On 10/4/15, Deputy Jones arrested John Simon III, 33 of Woodbridge for DUI, Refusal and Possession of Marijuana. The arrest resulted from a traffic stop in the area of Tidewater Trail and Benchmark Road.

On 10/4/15, Deputy Morris arrested Raymond Kidd, 47 of Caroline for DUI, Refusal and Concealed Weapon as the result of a traffic stop.

On 10/4/15, Deputy Polliard stopped a tractor trailer for failure to maintain lane of travel in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and I-95. Deputy Polliard arrested Samir Aliu, 44 of Spotsylvania DUID.

Narcotics

On 10/2/15, Deputy Griffith arrested Alvin Mudd, 19 of Spotsylvania for Driving Suspended and Possession of Marijuana. He was released on Summons.

On 10/4/15, Senior Deputy Payne arrested Evan Shiflett, 22 and Kayla Carbee, 19 of Spotsylvania for Possession of Marijuana. The incident stemmed from a traffic stop in the 5100 block of Plank Road.

Arrests

On 10/29/15, Deputy Payne arrested William Paschall, 62 of Spotsylvania for Drunk in Public on Anson Court.

On 9/29/15, Deputy Corbin arrested Edward Robinson, 56 of Spotsylvania for Drunk in Public at SRMC.

On 9/30/15, Deputy Dupree arrested Douglas Jessup, 57 of Spotsylvania for Drunk in Public in the 6000 block of Calhoun Drive.

On 10/2/15, Deputy Griffith arrested Edward Lantz Jr., 54 of Spotsylvania for Drunk in Public.

Detective Friedman responded to assist patrol Deputies with a reported robbery at the Breezewood CVS. The alleged victim, Demetrius Alston, stated he was robbed by two black males who stole $1,000.00 in money orders from his person and pushed him down to the ground injuring him. Alston was later arrested for False Report to Law Enforcement, when video evidence contradicted his account.
