◾Morgan and Parker made statements placing themselves at the scene of the crime.
◾Parker, a former girlfriend who resided with Harris at the residence for a time, made threats to physically harm him with the assistance of other subjects.

Murder USA: Hestina Harris sliced and diced her grandma and left her to die on the front lawn – (JEFFERSON, MD) – Maryland State Police Homicide investigators have arrested and charged the grand-daughter of Lillie Morris, earlier this afternoon, in connection with her December 22, 2014 murder.

The accused is identified as Hestina Lakeisha Harris, 19, of the 5406 Burkittsville Road, Jefferson, Maryland. She is charged with first degree murder, second degree murder and first degree assault. She has been taken to Frederick County Detention Center and is awaiting her initial appearance before a court commissioner.

Ocean City Police Beat: Montego Bay Burglar Extraordinaire Matthew W. Gruber stuffed in cell for Christmas

On December 10, 2014, Ocean City officers responded to three separate locations in the Montego Bay area in reference to thefts from motor vehicles. Jewelry, electronics and other miscellaneous items with an estimated total value of over $3,800 were stolen from the vehicles. Later that week, officers responded to a report of another burglary in the Montego Bay area where multiple electronics with a total value of approximately $500 were taken.

Fredericksburg Police Beat: police seek black male wearing hoodie who held up cabbie at gunpoint

Fredericksburg Police report that a cab driver was held up by a man wearing a hoodie and armed with gun. The robbery took place at the 7- Eleven, 905 Lafayette Blvd, on 12/17 at 4:45 a.m. A cab driver reported that he was parked in the lot when a male subject approached his driver’s side window and asked him if he was available for a fare. When the driver said yes, the suspect reached in through the window and pointed a handgun at the driver, demanding his cash and cell phone. The driver complied and the suspect fled from the area on foot. The driver then ran inside the 7-Eleven and called 911. The suspect was described as a tall black male over 6’2”, approximately 250 pounds, and in his early to mid30’s. He was clean shaven and was wearing a white sweatshirt with a gray hood pulled over his head, dark gray shorts, and white shoes. Multiple officers, including a K-9 unit called to the scene, searched the area extensively but were unable to locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

Hampton Police Beat: Kasheem Ramel Hart and Peter Burke Jones wanted for armed robbery

The investigation revealed the victim was in the 800 block of North King Street when he was approached by (2) suspects; who displayed firearms and demanded the victim’s property. Once the suspects removed an undisclosed amount of US currency a physical altercation took place between the victim and the suspects. During the altercation, the victim received a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim and the suspects are known to each other and there are suspected narcotic overtones associated with this incident.

Maryland Police Beat: Jeffrey Flaherty admits he tried to get police to kill him during stand-off in domestic drama

Jeffery Allan Flaherty has been charged with 4 counts of 1st Degree Assault. During his interview, he admitted to pointing an object at the police during the encounter in the home in an attempt to force officers to shoot him. During the officers’ execution of a search warrant, multiple firearms were recovered from the home, including a handgun hidden in the basement ceiling. Flaherty is being held on a $250,000 bond, pending bond in District Court in Rockville
