Man Found Stabbed on a sidewalk dead
BALTIMORE, MD. — Baltimore City Police report that Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred at 1:50am in the 3800 block of S. Hanover St. Victim is an adult male. Police say the man was pronounced dead at a local hospital and hope that those who may have information may call them.
Man shot dead identified as Daniel Joseph Hinton
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the 900 block of Delafield Place, Northwest.
On Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at approximately 6:07 pm, officers from the Fourth District responded to a call for a shooting in the 900 block of Delafield Place, NW. Upon arrival, they located an adult male unconscious, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded and determined there were no signs of life. The decedent was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death.
The decedent has been identified as 21-year-old Daniel Joseph Hinton, of Northwest, Washington, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Police say murder victim dumped on side of road was Malicia Smith of Hagerstown
(FREDERICK, MD) – Maryland State Police Homicide investigators have identified the victim found early on Christmas Eve on the side of the road in Frederick, Maryland.
The victim is identified as Malicia Smith, 20, of Hagerstown, Maryland. Ms. Smith has no known fixed address. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by Frederick County emergency medical personnel.
This investigation has now been assumed by the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit. The ongoing investigation indicates around 3:30 a.m. this morning, troopers from the Frederick Barrack responded to the area of Route 40, west of Ridge Road in Frederick, Maryland for a report of a body. Passing motorists called 9-1-1 advising they saw a body lying on the shoulder of the road. Emergency medical personnel was summoned. They pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Homicide investigators have been assisted by Maryland State Police crime scene technicians and investigators from the State Police Criminal Enforcement Division to respond. The body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

Maryland court records show that Smith was currently on probation for theft and assault from an incident which took place on Nov. 29, 2012 in Frederick County, Md. She entered a guilty plea on May 14, 2014 to the assault charge and was fined $500 with all of the fine suspended; sentenced 18 months in jail with 17 months and 27 days suspended and credit given for three days already served.
At the time, she had an address of 818 Main Avenue, Hagerstown, Md. Court records list her as being a black female, 5’8” and 175 lbs.
UPDATE: Victim Identified in Bel Pre Area Death
SILVER SPRING, MD. — Detectives from Montgomery County Police’s Major Crimes-Homicide Section continue to investigate a death that was discovered December 23 in the 14600 block of King Lear Court in the Bel Pre area of Silver Spring.
The victim has been identified as Oscar Uriel Navarro, age 36, of the 14600 block of King Lear Court.
On Tuesday, December 23 at 3:36 p.m., the Emergency Communications Center received a call for a possible death in a residence located in the 14600 block of King Lear Court. 4th District officers responded and found a deceased male in his thirties within the residence. He had trauma to his upper body. The victim was found by a relative. Detectives are treating this death as a homicide.
