Christine Belford and her children were placed in fear and suffered substantial emotional distress as a result of the Matusiewicz family’s widespread, public dissemination of this false and defamatory information.

Police say that on July 7, 2015, Deputy Schultz was present in District Court in Leonardtown, when he observed a male subject, later identified as Michael Aguedo Torres, 39, of Abell, acting in a strange manner.
