Maryland State Police Beat: woman critically injured in I-95 crash; cut out by Joppa-Magnolia VFC

A 32-year-old woman was reported to be in critical condition after the Infinity left the north-bound slow lane of I-95 at milepost 74 and crashed into the woods.  The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched at 6:36:49 AM and arrived at 6:42:49 to assist the injured driver.

Rescue crews from JMVFC & AFC used Jaws of Life and other special rescue tools to extricate the patient. A JMVFC paramedic unit transported the patient to Shock Trauma. The interstate was reopened after 3 hours and 30 min. The Maryland State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
