Tuesday Night Shooting in Rosedale Leaves Man Deceased
ROSEDALE, MD. —- Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting in Rosedale that left one man deceased and another injured.
Police were called to 5616 Daybreak Terrace of Rosedale, Md., around 9:30 p.m. on July 14, 2015 for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that two men were in front of a home when armed suspects approached them and opened fire.
One man was shot once in the mid body. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown. The other man was shot multiple times in the upper body. He was taken to an area hospital when he was later declared deceased.
The deceased victim has been identified as 37-year-old Chester William Zakroski III of the 5600 block of Daybreak Terrace 21206.
This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit. Detectives believe that at least one of the victims was targeted.
