LEONARDTOWN, MD. – Some courtrooms and churches have signs that ban spitting, cussing, eating, smoking or drinking in courts and churches. Apparently the District Court in St. Mary’s County needs one that says not to threaten the witness. Police say that on July 7, 2015, Deputy Schultz was present in District Court in Leonardtown, when he observed a male subject, later identified as Michael Aguedo Torres, 39, of Abell, acting in a strange manner.

Daniel Alioto. Alioto reports that Detectives continue to investigate prescription fraud incidents involving a group of individuals attempting to obtain “Promethazine-Codeine” known on the street as “Purple Drank”. A series of arrests involving the popular narcotics have been made in the past year.
