Murder at Dundalk: Witnesses saw him bag her and slab her!

Clyde C. Campbell, 53, of the 1700 block of Manor Road, 21222, was charged Wednesday evening and is held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. (Campbell had been arrested Monday morning in Dundalk on weapons charges unrelated to the Grubb case and has been held at BCDC since then.)

Grubb was reported missing to BCoPD by her daughter Saturday evening; she was last seen Thursday evening. The daughter said she was concerned because of a history of domestic violence between her mother and Campbell

Truck driver saved a truck-load of books from burning on I-95

Fire engines from the AFC responded in the southbound direction. Upon arrival, Firefighters found a tractor and trailer with fire in the rear of the tractor. Fortunately, the tractor-trailer driver was able to disconnect the trailer and pull the tractor away before the fire extended to the trailer, which was carrying books.

The fire on the tractor was extinguished. There was minor damage to the interior of the trailer. Firefighters initially used a thermal imaging camera to look for heat without damaging the trailer. The camera detected high heat present so the inside of the trailer was opened and checked for hidden fire. The fire appeared to have started near the braking area of the tractor. No injuries were reported. Several lanes of northbound I-95 were blocked until the tractor and trailer were removed from the scene.

Boogie Board Blues: EMS and lifeguards shuttle beach-goers to hospitals

A 43-year-old man who was riding a wave on a boogie board struck his head on the sand and later complained of neck and hand pain around 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Cullen Street. One witness said he was found face down in the surf but EMS personnel said he never lost consciousness. He was loaded onto a backboard, placed on a stretcher, below, and taken by ambulance to Beebe Hospital

Church fire fought by firefighters in three-alarm disaster to historic Spring Hill Episcopal in Hebron Md.

(July 22, 2014) – Deputy State Fire Marshals are currently on the scene investigating the cause of a church fire which was reported earlier this morning at 11:12 A.M.

The fire was reported to the 911 Center by a passerby.

Numerous fire departments from Wicomico County and Delaware responded to the fire which quickly escalated to three-alarms. It is estimated nearly 100 firefighters are still currently extinguishing the blaze.

Rhonda Leita Cauthen charged with attempted murder after allegedly ventilating boyfriend with knife

Baltimore County Police report that at 4:58 p.m. Sunday afternoon, (July 20, 2014) Baltimore County Police and Fire units responded to the unit block of Windermere Court 21117 for a report of a stabbing. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found an adult male victim in a vehicle suffering from a stab wound to the upper body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries

Aaron Slemker killed in Budds Creek drag strip crash

Budd’s Creek, Maryland – on July 22, 2014 at 12:45 PM, deputies responded to the Maryland International Raceway for an accident involving a motorcyclist.

Preliminary investigation revealed the operator of a racing motorcycle, identified as 21 year old Aaron Slemkez, was participating in a training session on an access road behind the drag-strip when he lost control and struck a cement barrier.

Firefighters run on two fires in Joppa in a day

According to the OSFM, the accidental fire was started in a plastic dryer vent and caused approximately $25,000 in damages to the structure and contents. All occupants were able to escape without injury. The dwelling was also a home day care. The adult resident discovered the fire and promptly alerted all occupants.
