Shore Police Beat: Pair were packing meth-residue, pot and paraphernalia, says Sheriff

DENTON, MD. (Sept. 19, 2014) — Caroline County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 09/05/14 at approximately 6:15 pm a Detective and the K-9 Unit from the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office were in the Greensboro area when they observed two subjects identified as; Pamela Stubbs and Donald Kibler to be traveling in a Chevy truck. Both subjects were known to have suspended and/or revoked licenses, and both subjects were observed to drive the truck within a short time period.

POCOMOKE CITY, MD. —-Police report that on Nov. 07, 2013 in Pocomoke City, Desmond Roberts from Salisbury, Maryland was attacked and stabbed several times by Marcus Dennis, Martel Blake and Torrance Davis. Pocomoke City Police arrived on the scene and began investigating the incident. All three suspects were subsequently arrested and charged by Pocomoke City Criminal Investigation Division, (CID) Detective Bailey. The Case was presented to Worcester County Deputy States Attorney Abby Marsh. As a result of the court disposition, Marcus Dennis pleaded guilty and received 15 years suspend all but 7 years in prison, Martel Blake plead guilty and received 15 years suspend all but 8 years and Torrance Davis who also plead guilty and received 20 years suspend all but 8 years.

Northern Virginia Police Beat: Detectives link DNA to Victor Alberto Serrano to attempted rape and abduction

WOODBRIDGE, VA. (Sept. 18, 2014) — Prince William County Police report that they have made an arrest of a man suspected of being the wild man who rushed a woman who was entering her vehicle after getting off work on March 20, 2014. The woman fought the man’s attempt to force her into the vehicle and he began to choke her. Police say that they both fell to the ground. The attacker continued to try to strangle her and force her into the back seat and failed and fled. A search with a K-9 dog ensued.

Beltway Bandits: Robbery Suspect Arrested, Pit Bull Shot

Following investigative leads, police located a suspect in this robbery at a residence in the 4100 block of Morrison’s Way. The suspect was contacted by phone and he came outside to surrender. While placing the suspect in custody a pit bull dog exited the house and charged the officers. One of the officers then shot the dog. After completing the arrest, officers were able to contain the wounded dog and transport it to a local veterinarian clinic. The dog is expected to recover.

Southern Md. Police Beat: Troopers charge two in burglary

LEXINGTON PARK, MD (Sept. 16, 2014) – Sgt. Jeff Jones of the Maryland State Police reports that two St. Mary’s County men were charged with breaking into a business and purloining various electronic equipment.

During the month of July 2014, patrol troopers from the Leonardtown Barrack responded to a commercial establishment, located in Lexington Park, St Mary’s County, MD for a reported burglary. During the Troopers preliminary investigation, they learned that several electronic devices were stolen during the course of the burglary
