Murder USA: Jacked-up Jeep sought in fatal hit and run of Christian J. Widomsky pushing snowblower in Harford County

Witnesses said the Jeep Cherokee was northbound on Harford Road approaching the victim from behind. Troopers were told the driver of the Jeep appeared to lose control and the vehicle struck the victim from behind. After striking the victim, the Jeep Cherokee did not stop and continued north on Harford Road toward Rt. 152.

Acting on a tip, an officer checked the beach at Mountain Point at the tip of the island and found corn washed on shore near an offshore stationary hunting blind. Officers kept the area under surveillance and on Jan. 24 – the last day of duck season – found five hunters in the blind and in an anchored Jon boat. A large quantity of shelled corn was found in the boat launching area

Fairfax Police Beat: spotlighting of police helicopter incident will result in beamer being jailed, say cops

FAIRFAX, VA., Fairfax County Police report that they are investigating an incident involving spotlighting the agency’s helicopter, creating dangerous visibility issues for the pilot and crew.

While returning to the helicopter base on Tuesday, February 24 around 8 p.m., the pilot observed a bright light illuminating Fairfax One.

School Bus Driver Pam Willie busted for DUI; had her brew with her on way to pick up kids for field trip

Further investigation indicated the driver was on her way to a private school in Montgomery County to pick up students for a field trip to Washington, D.C. It is not known where she was driving from. The bus was registered to Mr. Tim’s Bus Rides, of Owings Mills, Md. The owner responded to the scene and took custody of the bus.

Shortly before 10:00 p.m. yesterday, Maryland state troopers at the JFK Highway Barrack were dispatched to a hit and run crash in Harford County on southbound I-95, south of Rt. 24. Arriving troopers obtained a description of a Chevrolet pickup truck that struck a Buick passenger car carrying two people, one of whom was pregnant. The pickup did not stop and fled from the scene. Troopers immediately issued a lookout for the suspect vehicle.
