Beef stops with bullet – Man Dead Shot in Head
ESSEX, MD. (Feb. 27, 2015) — Baltimore County Police report they have charged a suspect in connection with the February 25 shooting in Middle River that left a man deceased.
Antwan Donta Holmes, 37, of the 3900 block of Red Deer Circle 21133 has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Detectives believe that Holmes and the victim, 22-year-old Christopher Allen Hagerman, knew each other. The investigation has indicated that Holmes shot Hagerman during an interaction that they were having.
This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department Homicide Unit.
Baltimore County Police have identified the person found deceased to the rear of the 3800 block of Bayville Road 21220 as Christopher Allen Hagerman (22) of the Unit block of Wiltshire Road 21221.
A person traveling through the neighborhood just before 7 a.m. yesterday morning found Hagerman’s body and called police.
An autopsy on Hagerman’s body concluded the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death was homicide.
The Baltimore County Police Department Homicide Unit continues to investigate this incident.
