The Dover Police Department responded to 16 shoplifting calls between Noon on February 12th and Noon on February 19th. Of those 16 shoplifting complaints, one was unfounded, five are still under investigation, one store declined prosecution, and arrests were made/warrants obtained in 9 cases. A total of 10 adults were arrested or are wanted for shoplifting during this period.
Dover Police nab trigger-happy bozo Agmere in Bubba’s shooting; he hip-hopped his way to jail! – Police say that after the victim and his girlfriend got into their car, Ingram and Matthews, who were in possession of handguns, shot at the victims several times. Officers located the victims and their vehicle, which had numerous bullet holes in it. However, neither part inside of the car was struck by any rounds that were fired. The male victim was taken to Kent General Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
Since that time, Montgomery County detectives have been working tirelessly with the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police, looking for evidence and gathering information that may indicate that Welch and other persons had a connection to the girls’ disappearance. We believe that there are people, including family members of Dick and Lloyd Welch, who have information that would further this investigation.

Virginia State Police seek help finding Bad Samaritans who robbed disabled female motorist – The suspects are described as two black males wearing dark clothing and operating an older-model, cream or light-colored sedan. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Virginia State Police Richmond Division at (804) 553-3445 or #77 on a cell phone. All information is confidential.
“Incidents of armed robbery, like this incident, are extremely rare and State Police have had no other incidents like this reported in recent days or weeks within the Metro Richmond region,” said Sgt. Stephan Vick, Virginia State Police Richmond Division Public Information Officer. “But stopping on the side of the road, especially a busy interstate, can make a motorist vulnerable.”
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today submitted 331 appointment nominations, known as “Green Bag” appointments, to the Maryland State Senate.
The governor’s appointments secretary, James Fielder, presented Senate President Mike Miller with the names of nominees, which include representatives from all 23 counties and Baltimore City. The 331 names submitted represent one of the highest totals in recent history for these types of appointees and demonstrates the outpouring of bipartisan support the governor and the administration have received from the citizens of Maryland.

Here comes the cash to lawyers just in time for them to pay their taxes! Thirty-Nine People Indicted in Massive Drug Trafficking Conspiracy
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA — The lawyers are going to be happy. There is plenty of cash being dug up out of girlfriend’s back yards, from safety deposit boxes, out of attics and storage units and being hustled off to the offices of attorneys all over Palm Beach. No drug dogs are allowed to scan the cash deposits of lawyers, as that would not be sporting. That money will go to good use, as the lawyers pay their staff, buy new cars and new jewelry for their wives. All is good in South Florida.
Thirty-four Florida residents were arrested in a drug trafficking conspiracy. A total of 39 individuals were charged, five individuals remain at large.
Melvin “Felix the Cat Burglar” Calix busted for burglary
WHEATON, MD. — Melvin “Felix the Cat Burglar” Calix, who cops say is a cat burglar who on one occasion assaulted a resident of a home, has now been rounded up and given a scratching post in a jail cell. Melvin is lucky he was in a county full of liberals who don’t believe in having guns. Had he ventured away from Montgomery County by a few miles the police would have been called to remove his lame carcass after having expired of lead poisoning.
Maryland sending DNR Cutter J Millard Tawes to break path thru ice to Tangier Island Va. – The Tawes is one of four vessels in DNR’s icebreaking operation that works on concert with the U.S. Coast Guard to keep commerce moving on the bay and its tributaries and fuel and supplies flowing to isolated communities.
NRP officers were called to the scene. A search of the vehicle turned up a loaded shotgun with the safety off, shotgun ammunition and a spotlight.
Kurt Andrew Simmons, 29, of Centreville, was charged by NRP with having a loaded firearm in a vehicle, casting rays (jacklighting), hunting deer without a license, hunting out of season, deer hunting at night and hunting while intoxicated. Queen Anne’s County charged him with driving under the influence.
