Wunder-Underwear Man Busted for Up Undie Shots; Drug Distribution

TOWSON, MD. — A man who is a Baltimore County employee assigned to assisting old folks has been arrested for previewing panties without the permission of his victims. While cops were busy searching his vehicle for evidence they bumped into a bunch of bags of pot which added to his new career as a defendant in the Baltimore County Courts.

Baltimore County Police report that they have charged a Westminster man after investigating a complaint of a man taking pictures underneath women’s dresses at a York Road Safeway.

On June 1 at 4:22 p.m. Baltimore County Police responded to a Safeway store on York Road, Towson, Md. and met with the store manager. The store manager told police that over the past few weeks, a male had been coming into the store, following female customers, and taking pictures up their dresses or skirts.

Further investigation indicated that on June 1 around 2:30 p.m., a male entered the store carrying a cell phone in his hand. The male was later observed walking past a female, holding his cell phone between her legs, and walking away. He was observed getting into an orange Jeep Wrangler.

Detectives identified this male as 38-year-old David Wayne Sayler of 8316 Westford Road, Timonium, Md.

When detectives confronted Sayler about the allegations, he allegedly admitted to taking photographs and videos under women’s skirts and dresses on multiple occasions.

Detectives obtained a search and seizure warrant for the suspect’s vehicle. When the vehicle was searched, detectives found several bags of suspected Marijuana that were packed in such a way that suggested that they were intended for distribution.

Sayler was charged with private place – prurient intent, CDS: possession, and CDS: possession with intent to distribute. He was released on $10,000 bail.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Sayler is employed by the Baltimore County Department of Aging.

This incident remains under investigation by the Precinct 6 Investigative Services Team.
