On April 30 at 6:44 p.m., Baltimore County Police responded to the parking lot of a Taco Bell in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Boulevard 21234 for a report of a fight. When they arrived on the scene, they found an adult male victim suffering from a wound to his neck.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injures. He is expected to survive.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that the victim and the suspect had become involved in an altercation in the parking lot. During the altercation, the suspect cut the victim on his neck with a knife.

The suspect was later located and taken into custody. He has been identified as 25-year-old Devon Darrel Scott of Baltimore. Scott has been charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault. He was released on $25,000 bail.

Officers learned that Scott is a Baltimore City Firefighter.
