Patrons of Club Lavish Made Big Splash with Cops Who Found Gun, Heroin, Pot and Pills
WILIMINGTON, DEL. — It was party time at Club Lavish, a splendid club in the Wild West town of DEADWOOD or as they call it in Delaware – Wilmington. Police say that on Feb. 21, 2015 at about 1:30 am, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of N. Union Street, Club Lavish, regarding a disorderly crowd fighting.
Upon arrival officers were met with a large crowd leaving the club, with several fights breaking out in the parking lot of Walgreens.
Police say that while dispersing the crowd, and attempting to clear the lot, M/Corporal Jeffrey Silvers initiated an investigation into an unregistered motor vehicle located in the described parking lot. In plain view inside the unregistered motor vehicle was the grip of a handgun. Two individuals were observed exiting Club Lavish and entering the described vehicle.
M/Corporal Jeffrey Silvers along with assisting officers made contact with Devon Trotter, 28, of New Castle and Tyrell Brown, 24, also of New Castle. Both individuals were placed into custody in reference to this investigation. A subsequent search warrant was executed on the vehicle and led to the recovery of a S&W .40 Caliber handgun, 47 bags of heroin, 10 grams of Marijuana, and 11 Alprolazam pills. Trotter was subsequently charged with Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Possession of Marijuana, and Aggravated Possession of Alprolazam. Brown was charged with Aggravated Possession of Heroin. Trotter was issued $10,200 secured bail, and Brown $1000 secured bail.
