Two on probation put on glide path to prison
after being busted with heroin and guns
WILMINGTON, DEL. Wilmington Police report the arrest of two young criminals, both in their teens and already on probation, for being in possession of heroin, cocaine, pot and guns.
Police say that on February 23, 2015 at approximately 8:30 pm Officers from Operation Safe Streets responded to a residence in the 1300 block of French Street in reference to an approved Administrative Search on a Level 3 probationer, identified as Anthony Burgos, 19.
While officers were securing the residence, they report that they located Malik Frazier, 18, and a level 2 probationer hiding in the bathroom. Frazier was found to be armed with a HW 38 revolver on his person, as well as 5 grams of packaged marijuana. Frazier was taken into custody without incident. Burgos was found to be in possession of 4.0 grams of crack-cocaine on his person, along with 26 grams of packaged marijuana. Burgos was then taken into custody without incident. An additional Administrative Search was granted for the residence of defendant Frazier in the 1300 block of N. Walnut Street. The following items of evidence were located within this residence: (1) 38 caliber round of ammunition and 24 bags of heroin (.36 grams). Both defendants were then transported to central and booked on the following charges:
*Burgos-Possession with the Intent to Deliver Marijuana
*Possession with the Intent to Deliver Crack-Cocaine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*VOP (Violation of Probation)
*Frazier-Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
*Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited
*Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
*Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Heroin
*VOP (Violation of Probation)
Burgos (White T-shirt) bail was set at $10,000 cash, plus $2,000 secured. Frazier (Blue T-shirt) bail was set at $19,000 cash. Both defendants are to be sent to The Howard Young Correctional Facility due to their Violation of Probation in addition to the described bail.
