While the vast majority of Chesapeake Bay watermen are law-abiding and work hard to understand and be in compliance with the myriad set of rules set down by Bay regulators, there are others who just don’t give a damn. According to the NRP, these watermen allegedly are among the latter, especially the father who has a long line of poaching convictions with which he can add notches to his boat and boast about in the tavern.

OCEAN CITY, MD. – (July 8, 2015) – A Towson man currently on probation for a prior DUI arrest attracted a crowd and the attention of Ocean City Police when he allegedly rammed into two parked cars and then did a backflip with his 2004 Mazda and continued his display of driver ineptness while impaired by driving on his rooftop down the median strip of one of the resort town’s main streets.

SNOW HILL, MD. (Sept. 15, 2014) According to Worcester County Sheriff’s deputies report that on September 11, 2014 around 9:00 pm a Deputy on patrol on Route 113 north of Shad Landing observed a vehicle that was traveling north bound on the south bound shoulder.
FREDERICK, MD. Two men were charged by Frederick Police with possession of cocaine on Aug. 18, 2014, at 11:48 am have decades long criminal records that span the Chesapeake Bay and have kept courts and prosecutors busy in many Maryland counties. Of course, since this is the FREE STATE, both men were free on bail the same day that they were locked up, in spite of their records.
Officers of the Frederick Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Clarke Place.
During the traffic stop officers requested a K9 to respond and conduct a sniff of the vehicle. The K9 arrived and alerted to the presence of drugs within the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle a Ziploc bag of cocaine was located. Both the driver, Kenneth William Nicewarner, of East F Street in Clear Spring, Md., and the passenger, Joseph Haupt were placed under arrest.
