Prince William County Police Beat: Stabbed and robbed of necklace by his hooligan friends; police seek to round-up gang members

Police report that on November 25th at 9:09PM, officers responded to the 14700 block of Potomac Heights Pl in Woodbridge, Va. to investigate a robbery. The victim, an 18-year-old woman of Triangle, reported to police that she and a known male acquaintance were walking through a residential parking garage in the above area when they encountered two unknown men. During the encounter, the men pulled out handguns and demanded property. The victim’s male acquaintance immediately fled on foot. One of the suspects pursued the male acquaintance. The other suspect took the victim to an interior apartment, at which point, the first suspect returned with a second victim, a 19 year old woman of Woodbridge. Once inside the apartment, the men took a wallet and money from the victims before fleeing. No injuries were reported. This was not a random incident.

Virginia Police Beat: Mayhem makers! Prince William want Dewayne Williams for shooting and carjacking;

WOODBRIDGE, VA. (Aug. 26, 2014) Prince William County Police report that shooting suspects sought in the incident; DeWayne Williams has been identified as the shooter in this case. Jamie Bowyer has been named as an accomplice in the initial incident.

DeWayne Andrew Williams, 28, 5’6″, 140lbs with black hair and brown eyes

Jamie Lea Bowyer, 31, 5’4″, 135lbs with blonde hair and hazel eyes

Both are currently wanted for aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Summer school burglars; two schools boosted for copper, vandalized

Burglary to a School | Grand Larceny –

Woodbridge, Va. — Prince William County Police report that on July 31st at 7:46 AM, officers responded to Lake Ridge Elementary School located at 11970 Hedges Run Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:30PM on July 30th and 5:15AM on July 31st. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the school through a temporary plywood door to the building due to ongoing construction. No property was missing from the interior of the school. A construction trailer located on the property was also entered after the padlock was broken and removed. Copper tubing, total value around $1,250, was reported missing from the trailer.

Prince William Police Beat: Puppy Killer – Breaking up was fatal for couple’s pets; animal cruelty

At that point, the victim stated she witnessed the accused use a kitchen knife to stab her dog. Officers checked the home and located an adult male pit bull deceased with a stab wound to its back.

Police Officers also located two, 2-week old pit bull puppies, one of which was also deceased and the other was critically injured. Both puppies appeared to have sustained blunt force trauma.

The injured puppy was immediately taken to an area animal hospital for treatment.

Potomac Mills — the new Springfield Mall crimeland; purse snatcher nabbed

Strong Armed Robbery – On July 10th at 11:44AM, officers responded to Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 28 year old woman of Alexandria, reported to police that she was confronted by an unknown man while inside the mall. The man eventually walked away from the victim but confronted her again in the parking lot. During the encounter, the victim reached for her cell phone to call police. At that point, the man forcibly grabbed the victim’s cell phone and fled the area. Officers located a man that matched the description provided by the victim. Following the investigation, the man, identified as the accused, was determined to be the suspect involved in the prior incident and was arrested. During a search, the victim’s cell phone was recovered in the suspect’s possession.
