UPDATE:
WOODBRIDGE, VA. (Aug. 26, 2014) Prince William County Police report that shooting suspects sought in the incident; DeWayne Williams has been identified as the shooter in this case. Jamie Bowyer has been named as an accomplice in the initial incident.
DeWayne Andrew Williams, 28, 5’6″, 140lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Jamie Lea Bowyer, 31, 5’4″, 135lbs with blonde hair and hazel eyes
Both are currently wanted for aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
On August 25th at 6:49PM, officers responded to the McDonalds located at 2891 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22913) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 23 year old man, was shot in the face following an altercation in the parking lot. After being shot, the victim went into the McDonalds where police were contacted.
The victim sustained a superficial, non-life threatening injury and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Officers arrived at the McDonalds and issued a lookout for the suspect vehicle.
A responding officer located the vehicle on Neabsco Mills Rd. Once spotted by police, the suspect pulled into the parking lot of Freedom HS where he then fled on foot.
The suspect reportedly ran to the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Neabsco Mills Rd and carjacked a second victim who contacted police after the suspect got out of the vehicle in the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Delaware Dr. The second victim was not injured. An extensive search is currently underway in this area for the suspect who is believed to be armed and dangerous. A police K-9 and helicopter are currently assisting in the search.

Black male, between 25 & 35 years of age, 5’9”, 160lbs with a medium build and tattoos on his arms
Last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.
