During their exodus from the Locust Point community, the suspects fired several additional rounds at two neighbors who saw the Ford Escape parked nearby and attempted to stop them from fleeing.
The police vehicle was being operated by an off-duty 47-year-old male police officer from the Harrington Police Department.
