CRIME TOWN Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested in the Eastern District; Sissy Crook with Purse Caught Notice of Cops
BALTIMORE, MD. – Baltimore Police reports that on November 30, 2016, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers were in the 1300 block of E. Lanvale Street when they saw two unknown males running with guns.
One of the suspects was also carrying a black Aldo purse, which appeared strange.
The officers were able to apprehend both suspects without incident. Upon questioning the suspects, both gave conflicting stories as to why they were running.

A short time later, a call was dispatched to Harford Road and Federal Street for a robbery. Taken during that robbery were the victim’s purse and cell phone. The victim was located, and she identified the two suspects as the ones who took her belongings. The victim’s property was returned, and both suspects were arrested.
20-year-old Travon Minor of the 500 block of Half Mile Court was arrested. Recovered from Minor were a loaded .22 caliber revolver, suspected narcotics, and the victim’s belongings.
Also arrested was 19-year-old Rayquel Jones of the 5800 block of Belair Road. Recovered from Jones was a loaded .32 caliber handgun.
Both suspects are prohibited from possessing firearms and are currently at Central Booking waiting to see a court commissioner.
