The Case of the Canned Caretaker’s Revenge – armed home invasion robbery was in retaliation for being fired, say cops

St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that detectives have rounded up a gang who preyed on two old women in a home in Town Creek, robbed them and caused injuries. The crime was planned in retaliation for Jessica L. Johnson, 24, of Mechanicsville, being fired, say police. The robbers were armed during the robbery and unfortunately, the residents of the home were not and didn’t get a chance to blast them into eternity.

Dover Police take note of ‘undocumented shoppers’ ripping off area stores

The Dover Police Department responded to a total of 16 shoplifting complaints between Noon on Thursday, August 28th and Noon on Thursday, September September 4th. This week saw a decrease of 10 complaints compared to the same time period in last weeks post. Of the 16 shoplifting complaints, 8 resulted in arrests of the suspects involved, 3 businesses declined prosecution, 2 of them are still under investigation without identified suspects, and no crime was confirmed in the other 3 cases. There were no juvenile arrests for shoplifting in this time period.

NAVAL AIR STATION PATUXENT RIVER, Md. (Sept. 3, 2014) – At around 3:30 p.m. today, a male infant was discovered unresponsive in the back of a vehicle.

911 was called upon discovery and NAS Pax River fire and emergency services responded and immediately took over CPR.

The infant was pronounced deceased at 4:15 p.m. by EMS personnel.

Robbery detectives are also actively searching for these armed robbery suspects. The two men robbed a convenience store in the 6800 block of Race Track Road in Bowie on August 29, 2014. The suspects pointed a gun at an employee and demanded cash. They then ran from the store. The suspects may have driven away from the area in a blue van similar to the one in the picture below. Glen Burnie man’s final suicide cocktail might have killed everyone in apartment building

In the course of investigating the odor, the crews forced entry into a first floor apartment to conduct a search for occupants and a source of the odor. They made access to the rear of the apartment, locating a bathroom where they observed a hand written sign on the door stating “Danger! Requires hazamat [sic] suit!!” The crews made entry into the bathroom and removed a 30 year old male from the bathroom to hallway. Upon assessment, the patient was determined to be deceased. The crew exited the apartment and requested the response of the Hazardous Materials Team while completing the evacuation of the apartment building.
