The indictment alleges that since November 2013, the defendants conspired to distribute various amounts of methamphetamine. During this 10-month-long operation, investigators conducted several controlled methamphetamine purchases. To date, authorities have seized approximately nine pounds of “crystal” methamphetamine, 15 firearms, over $9,000 in U.S. Currency and other assets in connection with this investigation.

Southern Md. Police Beat: Mini bike operator driving on road without lights killed

Possible Cougar Sightings in Fairfax County — good news — they eat deer!

Over the past 48 hours, Fairfax County Animal Control has received two reports of early-morning sightings of a large cat, possibly a cougar, near Riverside Elementary School on Old Mount Vernon Road in Alexandria. Animal Control Officers searched the area of the reported sightings but found no evidence confirming the presence of the animal.

Nine indicted by Caroline Grand Jury in Heroin Slam; St. Mary’s Adds to Tally with Heroin Dealer Suspect and Leonardtown High Teacher

LEONARDTOWN, MD. — St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Capt. Dan Alioto, the chief of the Narco Squad, reports the arrest of Michael Leonard Semiklose, 29, of Lexington Park, was identified as a distributor of heroin. A search and seizure warrant was obtain and executed on his home. Heroin and other evidence were recovered from the home and Semiklose was arrested. Additional charges are pending a State’s Attorney’s Office review.

But an investigation conducted by The Daily Caller found that anybody can enter the property of the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, drive through the front gates, park not far from a nuclear reactor and have no contact of any kind with security.

On September 8, 2014 Bryan Ira Summers was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery, Robbery, Assault First Degree, Assault Second Degree, Burglary First Degree, Burglary Third Degree, Handgun on a person, Use of a Firearm to commit a Felony/Violent Crime and Theft under $10,000. Bryan Ira Summers was committed to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center on a Bond.
