Just before 6 p.m. Monday night, a Police supervisor was in the area of Johnnycake Road and Upper Mills Circle when he heard gunshots. He investigated the sounds and found a male victim running down the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Another victim was found deceased in a car on Upper Mills Circle. He has been identified as 23-year-old James Wesley Cornish of the 6000 block of Cecil Avenue 21207.
“I can confirm for you today that we are looking for Eric Matthew Frein of Canadensis, PA,” said State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan. “He is 31 years old, approximately 165 pounds, and about 6 feet, 1 inch tall with blue eyes.”
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Fugitive Squad tracked down Wallace through investigative techniques. Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department arrested him at an apartment this morning. Two adults and four small children were also in the home at the time. Detectives are working to determine Wallace’s whereabouts since the shooting.
•The Police Department asks that residents of Darnestown and Clarksburg search their own land and property for Jacob and Sarah. If the children are located while searching one’s property, call 911. Render aid if it is an option, and if not, move away from the area until police arrive.
State police said more than 100 law enforcement officials from New York, New Jersey and here in Pennsylvania have searched the Blooming Grove area for a suspect or suspects and, so far, nothing.
“We are convinced that this individual is no longer in that immediate area,” said Lt. Colonel George Bivens.
Just before 11 p.m. on August 17, Baltimore County Police and Fire personnel responded to the Welcome Inn (8700 block of Loch Bend Drive 21234) for a report of a shooting. Upon arriving at the location, officers discovered 30-year-old Ramel Keith Baker lying in an alley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he was declared deceased
The indictment alleges that since November 2013, the defendants conspired to distribute various amounts of methamphetamine. During this 10-month-long operation, investigators conducted several controlled methamphetamine purchases. To date, authorities have seized approximately nine pounds of “crystal” methamphetamine, 15 firearms, over $9,000 in U.S. Currency and other assets in connection with this investigation.
Robbery unit detectives released these surveillance photos of two armed robbery suspects. The two men robbed a food mart on Livingston Road in Fort Washington on September 7, 2014. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and demanded cash. After grabbing money, the suspects ran from the store heading toward Indian Head Highway. Will Severance pay – Court records show Severance carried a deep grudge against Alexandria civil authorities, who revoked custody of his year-old-son in 2000 and forbade him any visitation until he received a mental-health examination. Severance represented himself in parts of the custody dispute and offered scatter-shot criticisms of authorities, though he was never specific in directing his anger at one person or agency. He wrote in one motion about the “inferior opinions of some prominent secular Alexandria authorities and teachers of the law with their rusty moral compasses.”
