Serial Killer? – Remains discovered on farm where previous murder victim was found may be that of Hannah Graham

At approximately noon Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, a search team located human remains on abandoned property in southern Albemarle County. Albemarle County Police, City of Charlottesville Police and Virginia State Police have spent the afternoon preserving the scene and processing evidence.

“At about 12 p.m. Saturday, a team of volunteers with the Chesterfield County, Va., Sheriff’s Office was searching an abandoned property along Old Lynchburg Road when they discovered the remains. The remains will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Richmond for examination, autopsy and identification.

“Right now we have the discovery of human remains and a great deal of work ahead of us,” said Col. Steve Sellers, Albemarle County Police chief. “We cannot and will not jump to any conclusions regarding today’s discovery. I ask for the public’s patience as we move forward and pursue what is now a new, ongoing death investigation.”

Biden son tossed out of Navy after testing positive for cocaine

Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden was discharged from the Navy in February after testing positive for cocaine, a person familiar with the case confirmed to ABC News.

The person said Biden had failed a urinalysis test administered in June 2013 before he was discharged from the Navy

Investigators continue to interview area residents about what they may have seen or heard. The search continues for suspects who may have been involved in this shooting. Anyone who may have been driving in the area of Academy Street and Main Street between 7:30 p.m and 8:00 p.m., yesterday is urged to contact Maryland State Police homicide investigators at the Easton Barrack 410-822-3101 or the Federalsburg Police Department 410-754-8966.

Smith, of 6734 Bobtown Road in Hurlock, Md., was convicted after pleading guilty to conspiracy and assault on May 28, 2014 from charges stemming from an incident on Nov. 7, 2013. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail with appearances in the slammer on weekends starting on May 30, 2014. He was also sentenced to a total of six months in jail with five months suspended and two years of unsupervised probation. Charges of trespass, reckless endangerment and assault were dropped by the Caroline County States Attorney in a plea deal.

Detectives and agents from the FBI continued the investigation, after the arrest of Lee and Troy, and were able to determine additional suspects were involved in the planning stages of the robbery and provided material support to the suspects before and after the robbery.

On October 2, 2014 a St. Mary’s County Grand Jury returned indictments on Michael M. Burgess, age 52 of Alexandria Va. and Abdelrahim T. Ayyad, age 49 of White Plains, Md. charging both with Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.

12-Year Old Kid Targeted Police Chopper with Laser

The flight crew contacted the Maryland State Police Westminster Barrack to request assistance to identify possible suspects at the residence. Upon arrival of patrol troopers from the Westminster Barrack, an investigation determined a 12-year-old male had shined a green handheld astronomy laser at the aircraft. Further investigation will be handled by Maryland State Police Westminster Barrack and federal authorities.

CONCORD, NH (Oct. 12, 2014) —Myron Armstrong, 38, an inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Berlin, New Hampshire, has entered a guilty plea in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire to one count of possessing a weapon in a federal correctional facility, announced United States Attorney John P. Kacavas.
