C. – Commuters who parked their vehicles at the Branch Ave. and Huntington Station Metro Garages and returned at the end of the long work-day only to find that the vehicle wouldn’t start and had to have it towed to garage had a nasty surprise awaiting them. Some dirtbag had cut out their catalytic converter. Now they and their insurance companies, out of thousands of dollars, might take some comfort in knowing that a worthless alleged scumbag is now behind bars and awaits trial in two states for being the culprit.

It is unconscionable to deprive our state capital of a State Police barrack and the troopers necessary to ensure public safety or respond to an emergency.”

Metro Police identify thug sought for assault of elderly man at Metro station

The assault occurred shortly after 1 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2015. The victim reported that he was shoved by the suspect as they exited a train at Eastern Market Station. A verbal altercation ensued. As the victim and suspect exited the station, at the top of the platform escalator, the suspect can be seen on surveillance video spitting on the victim, and then punching him three times. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries resulting from the attack.
