<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">ANNAPOLIS MD. – From the frying pan into the fire is the best way to describe the flight to the beach of PG County alleged drug dealer Nathan Campbell, who was indicted five days earlier by a Prince Georges County Circuit Court Grand Jury for possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony distribution of drugs charge. A warrant was out for Campbell and was served on him when he showed up in the custody of Maryland State Police.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maryland State Police charged Campbell with possession of drugs after he was stopped by Maryland State Trooper Ford of the Annapolis Barrack, on July 18, 2017, on westbound Rt. 50 at Southaven Road in Annapolis, Md.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Nathan Elliott Campbell, 29, of 5916 Saint Moritz Drive, Apt. 203, Temple Hills, Md., is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, intent to distribute and additional misdemeanors.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> Police report that just before 12:00 on July 18, 2017, Trooper Ford observed a driver, later identified as Campbell, operating a silver 2007 Infiniti G35 traveling 90 MPH in a posted speed limit of 65 MPH on westbound Rt. 50 at Southaven Road, in Annapolis, Md.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Campbell was the sole occupant of the vehicle. After stopping the vehicle, the trooper immediately detected an odor of marijuana and observed several signs of possible criminal activity.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle, which led to the recovery of a large quantity of marijuana. Troopers also located over $18,000 in cash, in various denominations.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maryland State Police Spokesman Sgt. DaVaughn Parker reports that the contraband and vehicle were taken into custody pending further investigation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A bond of $75,000 was required and posted by the bondsman, former Maryland Senator Tommie Broadwater on July 18, 2017.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">It may well be proven that Campbell is a felonious idiot incapable of driving in a reasonable or prudent manner however the traffic charges he piles up on a path of erratic operation of his Infiniti may have ended with the seizure of his wheels by the cops.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On July 11, 2017, at 10:07 pm, Campbell was cited by Prince Georges County Police Officer Knight with multiple traffic charges of reckless driving with wanton and willful disregard for the safety of persons and property, running a traffic light, and all around driving like a lunatic while on White House Road at Brown Station Road in Upper Marlboro, Md.</span></p>

On June 2, 2017, Campbell earned a seat load of citations from Prince Georges Police Officer Allen as he operated a 1990 Chevy on Kettering Drive at Landover Road.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Charges of possession of drugs with the intent to distribute filed against Campbell on May 28, 2012, in Prince Georges County District Court were dropped by Prince Georges States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks on June 25, 2012.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Drug dealing charges against Campbell were dropped by Prince Georges County States Attorney Jack Johnson on May 19, 2010.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Campbell got his life of crime off to a good start in 2005 when he was indicted on multiple criminal counts in an armed robbery. On Feb. 3, 2006, Campbell entered a guilty plea to robbery and was sentenced to prison for ten years with all but three years suspended. Campbell violated the terms of his probation and was hauled back before a Judge in Prince Georges Circuit Court for a hearing on Sept. 20, 2010.</span></p>
