MURDER USA Baltimore’s killing class ramps up the tally to 151 for 2017 with three more in 24 hours
Passenger in vehicle shot dead on South Payson Street; one injured
BALTIMORE, MD. — On June 3, 2017, at about 7:12 p.m., Baltimore Police report that police were called to the 600 block of South Payson Street for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived on the scene they observed a 28-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.
Medics were summoned and transported the victim to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment. The victim was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Homicide detectives were called to the location and assumed control of the investigation.
Detectives learned that the victim was seated inside of a vehicle at the time of the shooting.
The gunman approached the passenger side of a vehicle and shot the victim.
Another individual at the scene sustained injury from broken glass and was treated by medics.
