BALTIMORE POLICE BEAT / Baltimore Police press conference on release of body camera video that shows threat to the children from suspect armed with knife

ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER SHOOTING

On March 28, 2017, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a 23-year-old woman walked up to an officer who was conducting a car stop in the 1700 block of Riggs Avenue.

The woman was suffering from gunshot wounds to leg, chest, and finger. The victim reported she was shot in 800 block of N. Gilmore Street. She was later transported to an area hospital and is expect to survive her injuries.

Citywide shooting detectives are investigating this shooting.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was driving when an unknown black male with dreadlocks approached her and opened fire without warning.
