Coast Guard lifted passenger from Celebrity Reflection along with cruise ship nurse for flight to hospital in San Juan

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO —- The Coast Guard medevaced a 47-year-old man during the morning of April 20, 2017, from the Celebrity Reflection cruise ship, approximately 35 nautical miles north of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The patient, who was in medical distress, was transported along with a cruise ship nurse to the Centro Medico Hospital in San Juan.

The crew of a Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Air Station Borinquen hovers near the Celebrity Reflection to pick up a distressed passenger for a flight to a hospital.
