
DWI HIT PARADE: Maryland State Police report arrest of Angel Gabriel Rosario in DWI Fatal Crash in Cecil County
Maryland State Police report that a DUI driver caused a fatal crash on Rt. 301 that took the life of a Church Hill man. On April 20, 2017, at approximately 11:18 PM, the Maryland State Police North East barrack responded to US Route 301 just south of the Delaware line for a report of a motor vehicle collision involving two commercial vehicles. Upon their arrival, they learned the crash involved a 2013 Ford E350 box truck and a 2006 International 9400i tractor pulling a semi-trailer. EMS advised a passenger in the Ford was pronounced deceased.
The Delaware State Police, Maryland State Police Centreville Barrack and North East Barrack had received reports of a possible intoxicated driver traveling south on US 301 entering the State of Maryland.

The following information was learned during the investigation, reports the Maryland State Police: The Delaware State Police, Maryland State Police Centreville Barrack and North East Barrack had received reports of a possible intoxicated driver traveling south on US 301 entering the State of Maryland. The suspect vehicle was a Honda passenger car. According to information received during the investigation, the Honda was unable to maintain a single lane or able to maintain a steady speed. Behind the suspect vehicle was another passenger car and an International tractor trailer being driven by Neris Alvarado. According to information received, a separate tractor trailer passed Alvarado’s truck and the Honda. As the truck passed the Honda, the Honda almost struck the side of the truck.
The investigation revealed that Angel Rosario was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
