Maryland State Police Beat / Prince Frederick incidents and arrests; Heroin is his game, Bush is his name
PRINCE FREDERICK, MD. – Maryland State Police report that on Feb. 24, 2017, at 5:30 am, Trooper First Class Matthews stopped a vehicle on Church St. in Prince Frederick following a broadcast to lookout for a black Pontiac. A K-9 Scan was requested and resulted in a positive alert. A search was conducted and both CDS and CDS paraphernalia were located. Matthew D. Bush, 37, of Grasonville, MD was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

PRINCE FREDERICK, MD. — Some folks just like to hang out with the old folks, perhaps waiting to get old or simply looking for opportunities. Maryland State Police in Prince Frederic report that on Feb. 24, 2017, at 9:10 am, Trooper First Class Barlow responded to the Calvert Pines Senior Center for a trespassing complaint. Michael D. Welch, 51 of Prince Frederick previously had been issued a no-trespass order and was found in front of the building. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Foote charged with packing heat when Anthony Waul was popped for cocaine
PRINCE FREDERICK, MD. — Maryland State Police report that on Feb. 25, 2017, at 12:58 am, Trooper Jones stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 near Whispering Dr. in Prince Frederick for traffic violations. Anthony R. Waul, 45 of Waldorf, was given a field sobriety test and completed it successfully. A K-9 scan was performed and cocaine was found. Waul was arrested for possession. A passenger, Edwin S. Foote Jr., 27 of Lusby, was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm. Foote and Waul were both incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Boat bums got new home in slammer after undocumented party on yacht; face burglary charges
SOLOMON’S ISLAND, MD. — Becoming adults apparently had been a little tough on these six packs of slugs who a Maryland trooper put the cuffs on Feb. 26, 2017. The trooper found the group had allegedly busted into a boat to have a party. On 2/26/17 at 10:08 am, Trooper First Class Barlow responded to the Spring Cove Marina in Solomon’s for a trespassing complaint. A boat at the dock had been broken into and there were six subjects having a party.
The Maryland State Police investigation determined that the subjects did not have permission to be on the boat.
Christopher T. Stinger, 18, of 39860 Claires Drive, Mechanicsville, Md.; Nohelani A. Stiffel, 19, of 39975 Fair Hill Lane, Mechanicsville, Md.; Eric Owen MacQuilliam, 18, of 44786 Three Coves Road, Hollywood, Md.; William L. Taylor, 18; and Jose Llanos Olivares, 18 were all placed under arrest and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. A juvenile was taken into custody and taken to the MSP Barrack in Prince Frederick and was released to his parent following appropriate charges.
