<h2>MURDER USA Staggering James Allen Jr fell dead of gunshot wounds in Pocomoke City</h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">POCOMOKE CITY, MD – Maryland State Police report that they are investigating a fatal shooting in Pocomoke City.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The victim is identified as James Allen Jr., 26, of 1802 Pitts Circle in Pocomoke City, Md. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.</span></p>

The caller reported seeing a man stagger across the road and fall in the middle of the street. Officers from the Pocomoke City Police Department were immediately dispatched along with emergency medical service personnel. Upon arrival of EMS, the victim appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police believe the incident occurred at Oxford Street and 4th Street in Pocomoke City, about an eighth of a mile from where the caller observed Allen staggering. Investigators have been interviewing witnesses and residents in the area throughout the night. Crime scene evidence has been transported to the State Police Forensic Sciences Division crime laboratory for analysis. Police report that further details are few and are preliminary.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Investigators from the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene and will lead the investigation. Homicide, Unit investigators, are being assisted by the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation, MSP Criminal Enforcement Division investigators, the Pocomoke City Police Department, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, and MSP Berlin Barrack personnel. The Worcester County State’s Attorney and members of the Pocomoke Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene to provide assistance. Maryland State Police crime scene technicians from the Forensic Sciences Division processed the scene for evidence.</span></p>

Crime Solvers of the Lower Eastern Shore at 410-548-1776 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case. Callers may remain anonymous.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">According to Maryland court records, Allen didn’t care much for bothering with obtaining a driver’s license; he had a lead foot and was recently ticketed for doing 60 mph in a 25-mph zone. All in all, he was a really bad driver. Nearly a dozen traffic citations were issued to Allen by Pocomoke Police Officer D. McGlotten on Oct. 30, 2016, for a wreck in which Allen fled the scene </span>an<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> attempted to elude police in a mid-day romp in a 2007 Toyota through the center of Pocomoke City.</span></p>
