Murder USA: Terrence Newman Jr charged with murder of woman in Westview Park
CATONSVILLE, MD. — Baltimore County Police have identified the woman whose body was found in Westview Neighborhood Park on November 5, 2015, as 21-year-old Carlita Coleman of the 1200 block of Black Friars Road 21228.
Investigators that determined that Coleman’s death was a homicide and have identified 23-year-old Terrence Omar Newman Jr of the 1000 block of Collwood Road 21228 as the suspect responsible. Colman and Newman were acquaintances.
Newman has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Coleman’s official cause of death will be determined by the autopsy which is not complete.
This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.
