Western District Shooting Investigation
On September 20, 2016, at about 4:42 p.m., police were called to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.
When officers arrived at the hospital they observed a 23-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.
Detectives determined that the victim was shot while in the 900 block of West Baltimore Street.
Citywide Shooting detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation
On September 18, 2016, at about 9:28 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of Stonecroft Road for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived on the scene they observed a 23-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
Citywide Shooting detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation.

Gage Mitchell charged with shooting
Southern District
On September 2, 2016, at approximately 6:25 p.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Audrey Avenue for a shooting.
Upon arrival officers located a 35-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the left foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non- life threatening injury.
Citywide shooting detectives are investigating this incident.
Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in a sedan service vehicle when two suspects opened fire, striking the victim with a round shot through the vehicle. The suspects fled the scene in a 4 door vehicle that was last seen headed towards AA County.

Update
On September 19, 2016 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Warrant Apprehension detectives arrest 19-year-old Gage Mitchell at his home in the 500 block of Old Riverside Road.
Mitchell was transported to Central Booking where he has been charged with the shooting that occurred in the 4200 block of Audrey Avenue.
Homicide
Northwest District
On September 14, 2016 at approximately 1:40 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3100 block of Reisterstown Road for a report of a suspicious death.
Once at the location, officers met with family members of the victim, that stated they have not seen the victim since the last week of August.
Police did make entry into the home, where they found an adult male, later identified as 43-year-old Eric Wilkins of the 3100 block of Reisterstown Road, laying on the floor.
The victim’s body was sent to the Office of the State Medical Examiner’s, where it was ruled a homicide.

College student stabbed and left dead on Baltimore street
Homicide
Northeast District
On September 19, 2016 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 5400 block of Loch Raven Blvd for a report of a stabbing.
Upon officer’s arrival, they located the victim, 21-year-old Marcus Edwards, suffering from a stab wound to the chest. The victim was transported to an area hospital where despite doctor’s efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim in this case, was a student at Morgan State University. This incident did not occur on the campus or at campus housing.

Homicide Update
In reference to the homicide that occurred on September 18, 2016 in the 1800 block of North Montford Avenue, the victim has been identified as 44-year-old Robert Crowe (W/M) of the 7500 block of Lange Street.
Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested
On September 18, 2016, 61-year-old Thomas Bradley turned himself into Western District police. There was an outstanding attempted murder warrant for the arrest of Bradley.
Citywide Shooting detectives investigated the attempted murder of a 15-year-old male, identified a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.
Thomas Bradley has been charged with 1st degree attempted murder and is to remain at Central Booking until his trial.

Western District Shooting Investigation
On September 10, 2016, at approximately 1:15pm, officers were called to the 900 block of Ashburton Street for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found a 15-year old male with a gunshot wound to his upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation
On September 18, 2016, at about 10:56 a.m., police were called to the 1600 block of Normal Avenue for a reported shooting.
Once in the scene officers discovered two victims suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Victim # 1 was shot in the buttocks and is a 21-year-old male. Victim # 2 was shot in the leg and is a 24-year-old male. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
Citywide Shooting detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation
On September 18, 2016, at about 12:08 a.m., Eastern District police officers responded to the 2100 block of Kirk Avenue for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived on the scene they observed a 33-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics responded and pronounced the victim dead.
Homicide detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation.

In reference to the homicide that occurred on September 16, 2016 in the 2100 block of Kirk Avenue, the victim has been identified as 33-year-old Kenyon Cypress of the 4300 block of Eldone Road.
Western District Shooting
On September 17, 2016, at about 6:53 p.m, police were called to the 2800 block of Winchester Avenue for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived on the scene they observed a 30-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.
Police officers in the area were able to locate a vehicle that fled the shooting scene and a person of interest was taken into custody.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

On September 17, 2016, at about 3:50 p.m, police were called to the 1100 block of Druid Hill Avenue for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived on the scene they observed a 34-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

On September 16, 2016, at about 9:05 p.m., police were called to the 700 block of Mello Court for a reported shooting.
Once on the scene, officers discovered a 43-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics were summoned to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
Shortly after arriving at Johns Hopkins Hospital the 43-year-old male victim was pronounced dead by medical staff.
Homicide detectives were summoned to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.

Eastern District
In reference to the homicide that occurred on September 16, 2016 in the 700 block of Mello Court, the victim has been identified as 44-year-old Travis Lane of the 600 block of North Montford Avenue.
Western District Homicide Investigation
On September 16, 2016, at about 9:16 p.m., police were called to the 2600 block of Reisterstown Road for a reports of a firearm being discharged.
When officers arrived on the scene they discovered evidence of a shooting. Officers canvassed the area for victims and witnesses. No victims were located.
A short time later two victims walked into separate area hospitals seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
Shortly after arriving to Sinai Hospital, medical personnel pronounced a 25-year-old male victim deceased.
The second victim, a 32-year-old male, sustained non-life threatening wounds.
Homicide detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation.

When officers arrived they observed a 27-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Northern District Shooting Investigation
On September 16, 2016, at about 10:01 p.m., police were called to the 5000 block of Ready Avenue for a reports of a firearm being discharged.
When officers arrived on the scene they canvassed the area for possible witnesses and victims. No victims were located.
A short time later, two victims from the Ready Avenue shooting call walked into separate area hospitals seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
Both victims sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
One of the victims is a 19-year-old female and the other victim is a 26-year-old male.
