<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maryland State Police report that on 3/21/16 at 6:27 pm, Trooper First Class Barlow responded to the 7-Eleven in Sunderland to check the welfare of a person slumped over in a vehicle. Rory M. Lohman, 41 of Huntingtown, was located and appeared to be intoxicated. Lohman refused to exit the vehicle. Police say that CDS Paraphernalia was observed in plain view and K2 spice was located in the vehicle. Lohman was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, possession of CDS and paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Instead of trying to rip off the insurance company with a false report she could have sought guidance from a TV commercial</strong></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">CHESAPEAKE BEACH, MD. &#8212; Maryland State Police report that on 3/21/16 at 7:32 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis responded to the 3000 block of Lawrin Ct. in Chesapeake Beach, in regard to a fraudulent report provided to the homeowner’s insurance company. Michelle J. Murphy, 44 of Chesapeake Beach, was arrested for filing a </span>fraudulent<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> lost property report to her insurance company for property she claimed was missing from her vehicle. On the fraudulent form, Ms. Murphy had signed the section representing a police officer. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. </span></p>
<h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Wawa Wound-Up: Too much lip action and mayhem led to slammer for Shannon Wallace</strong></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">PRINCE FREDERICK, MD. – When some folks get carried away with a beef in a store, things can get out of hand. This story from The Naked City involved a woman who took out her dispute with another on the order screen of the Wawa. The next people in line were likely cheering when the cops came and dragged out the miscreant to jail for adding to their wait time. Maryland State Police report that on 3/22/16 at 8:15 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis responded to the Wawa in Prince Frederick for a reported disturbance. The manager explained that two customers had begun to argue and one had damaged an electronic ordering screen. Shannon R. Wallace, 28 of Lusby, was arrested for destruction of property. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Fast Times in Fastop Led to Banishment for Big Mouth and Jail for Gray </u></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>St. </u></strong>LEONARD, MD. &#8212; Maryland State Police report that on 3/24/16 at 8:53 pm, Corporal Newman was conducting a patrol check at the Fastop in St. Leonard, and was asked by the manager to remove two patrons from the store. A female patron was released without incident and instructed to not return to the store. Police say that David L. Gray, 32 of Lusby, was found to be in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. </span></p>
<h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Schultz’s great Lexus Caper</strong></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">SOLOMON’S ISLAND, MD. &#8212; Why drive your own junker when one can just keep someone else’s Lexus? Like Obama says, it’s okay to ‘spread the wealth around’, except when the title to a vehicle is in another’s name. Maryland State Police report that on 3/25/16 at 3:27 pm, Trooper First Class Rowe handled a complaint regarding an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The victim reported David F. Schultz, 37 of Washington, DC allegedly did not return his 2008 Lexus to his residence in Solomon’s as requested. On 3/26/16, the vehicle was returned to the victim. A criminal summons has been issued for Schultz charging him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Police say that the case remains open.</span></p>
